Gypsum is built up of calcium sulfate dihydrate. It has an important role in controlling the rate of hardening. You need to use a small amount of gypsum during the final grinding part in the cement manufacturing process.

Place a precise mixture of finely ground limestone, clay, and sand in a rotating kiln and heat it to a temperature of 1450ºC. The product that you get after heating is cement clinker.
