Hello World! Welcome Friends! Contrary to popular belief, you can use your backyard or outdoor area at any time of the year, not just in the summer.
Winter is on its way. It may well be one that is packed with snow, comfortable nights in, cashmere throw blankets, hot cocoa, and sparkling lights to celebrate the holidays. This is exactly what many people envision when they think of wintertime: an image that is nothing short of a magical winter wonderland.
Others, however, do not regard winter as such a magnificent period, and they may long for the days when they could linger outside till the early hours of the morning and their sweaters were replaced for tank tops. It is, however, fairly simple to find a solution to this winter compromise: with all of us in need of a little more enjoyment in our lives, converting your backyard into a winter wonderland is certainly achievable, and even simple.
With a little assistance and some inspiration from others who have previously done it, there is not a backyard space that can not be transformed into the perfect winter gathering spot for the whole family. In addition to space heaters and fairy lights, it is time to create an entire relaxing area without ever leaving the comfort of your own house this winter.
Festive Furnishing
The first thing to consider is the furniture, specifically the seating. It can be the more expensive part of the project though, so it is vital to hunt around for bargains and think carefully. Many businesses are offering end-of-season bargains, and many of these feature outdoor furniture sets or overstock items such as chairs and weather-resistant tables. Do not forget things like comfy cushions and throws to snuggle up under when the temperature has dropped.
Light It Up
Carefully considered landscape lighting and mood lighting can really make a magical winter wonderland garden. Solar-powered lights have made significant advancements in recent years, and the majority of them now work admirably in low winter light levels, albeit with a slightly weaker glow than a battery- or mains-powered bulb. Candle-lit lanterns are excellent for quickly changing the atmosphere of a party environment. As the winter nights draw in, lighting enhances the seasonal shine and atmosphere in your garden.
As a general rule, ice-white lights have a blue tint to them and give off a modern, current vibe, whereas warm-white lights have a yellow tint to them and give off a more classic vibe. Whatever color you choose, multi-colored lights are guaranteed to infuse a sense of playfulness.
The use of candlelit lanterns in the garden on cold winter evenings is a simple and cost-effective method to add a sense of drama to the space. Moroccan-style lanterns are made of metal latticework, which helps to keep the candles from blowing out during use.
A strand of LED lights can completely transform a tree. It is just a matter of connecting them to an outside extension cord and then wrapping them around the tree’s trunk starting at the base and working your way up. Make an effort to maintain consistent spacing between each cycle.
