Hi Friends! Here in Southern Texas, Fall hasn’t quite graced us with her presence. We are waiting expectantly for her to make her appearance and not tease us too much with mornings of a slight coolness in the air only to be met with increasing warmth by mid morning. In anticipation of Fall breezes and leaves falling to the ground, I’ve pulled out a little of our Fall decor and scattered it in bits around the house. Well, mainly the front porch, family room and breakfast room. Cozi, our youngest feline is always close by me when I’m trying to take photos. So, of course she had to be in at least one picture.
I love how the sun is dappled through the leaves casting shadows on the brick.
As many of you know, my front entry hall gets no light whatsoever. So, all of the lights must be turned on in order to get any decent photos. I placed the black and cream striped pumpkin here to tie in with the black lamp shades.
The china hutch also got a little smattering of decor. I’ve always loved how orange and blue look so well together.
Isn’t she a glorious mess?
I’m still looking for a huge mirror to go above the fireplace. But, alas, nothing in my price range is doing the trick. Looks like I’m going to have to save up and increase the budget.
That’s it for Fall decor around here. You know I’m just priming the pump before the marathon of decorating for Christmas.
