Hello World! Just a quick note that there will not be a Make it Pretty party today. Little Dedicated is off from school for Columbus Day and we’ve been spending the day together. In the meantime, here is a little post about our sweet, furry friends.
Studies show that people who own pets are happier than non-pet owners. While there are numerous statistics to back up this claim, if you own a dog, you don’t need to bother delving into the boring world of statistics. You’ve got more exciting things to do. Places such as the pet food aisle of the grocery store, a yard sale table filled with pet toys, local stores that sell pet products, an elevator or any waiting area, tends to open up opportunities for people to begin discussing their pets. Since it’s pretty evident that pet people who meet in passing like sharing pet stories, it seems like the next step might be to purposely arrange gatherings so that pets can play together while their human friend tells stories about how fantastic they are.
Browsing around a site such as PetCostumeCenter.com can give you some pet centered party theme ideas. There’s the obvious occasions such as Halloween and Christmas to dress your dog in a costume, but it’s when you expand those opportunities that you and your dog can have even more fun. You could welcome summer by inviting your friends and their dogs to a backyard cookout and include a dog costume contest. Your popularity among your friends with pets will increase when you invite them and their dogs to your dog’s birthday party. Be sure the birthday dog is well-dressed for the celebration. To maximize everyone’s fun, party invitations that include pets could also include the message, “costumes encouraged.”
How cute are they? Thanks for dropping by for a visit. Tomorrow, pop back in to see The Round-Up features from last week’s Before & After Wednesday party. Have a fabulous evening and remember to be kind to one another!
Joy to the Full!
