Hello World! So, I’m such a dork. I love my little blue chest with the gold handles that I will run into the dining room just to go and look at Claudette and give her a nice pat or two. Not to sit there all by herself, she has a friend now hanging above her. Okay, I’ll stop now.
The gold mirror came from my Mother. I’ve been pestering her for this mirror for years and finally she caved and gave it to me!
Let’s call her Gilda the Gold. I just love how she compliments the gold handles.
Bye-bye toile curtains. Cannot wait to get the other ones.
And, surprise! A little pop of green to line her drawers.
There they are. Fast friends, Gilda and Claudette.
Don’t worry, I’m working on some stuff to go on top of Claudette. I’m just in a tizzy I tell you.

The mirror looks wonderful over the chest, what a perfect place for this combo…I do love the color of the chest as well, it really updates the whole look….
I too have the same mirror that belonged to my mother. She also had a pair of matching sconces. If I remember, they were Home Interiors products. I've still got them, but since moving to our new home, they have not found a happy place (yet).

Love the mirror, Kathryn! I picked up one just like it at an estate sale about a month ago. I'm undecided whether I want to part with it to my booth or try to figure out where I can use it here. : )
