Hello World! Welcome Friends! Hope all are well and happy. Today, I wanted to take the opportunity to share this easy Pasta Salad recipe. The other night, our friends brought this over as one of the side dishes to the church community group we host in our home. I had seconds. Gasp.
Summer Pasta Salad
Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta, cooked and cooled, rinse in cold water
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup cucumber, chopped
- 1 lb imitation crab
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Italian salad dressing
- Miracle Whip
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- Add Miracle Whip and Italian dressing in equal portions to desired consistency.
- Mix all ingredients and add salt & pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate salad before serving.
The day I made it, I had a red bell pepper on hand and decided to throw that in there. Really, you could add any vegetables you have on hand, but the cucumber, onion and bell pepper taste great with the crab. You could also try this tomato cucumber salad recipe out if you like cucumbers a lot!
What have we been doing? Spending time with little friends swimming in the little pool. And, of course swinging.
Why do we buy her toys when a box will suffice? I remember doing the same thing when we would get some new huge appliance. lol
We are off to the beach today for a couple of days. Yes, it’s raining here. And, no, we don’t care. That way, this white, red-headed woman won’t get burned.

I've never met a kid yet that didn't love to play in a box. My grandkids would spend hours playing in them. I can't begin to tell you how many things the box turned into. HA
Pasta salad looks yummy. I wish we would get some rain here in Texas it is so hot and dry. The temperature is supposed to be 97 degrees by the weekend. I hate the h~E~A~T! 🙂 Enjoy the swim!

My husband walked by while I was reading your post and he's practically drooling on the back of my head! I also wonder why I buy my daughter toys when all she wants to play with are water bottles and boxes! And today must be a good day to start link parties because I also started one! I'd love to have you stop by and link up if you're up to one more! http://www.hubbymademe.com/throwback-thursday-no-1/
