Hello World! Welcome Friends! Water is essential for life. Every living organism on the planet needs water to survive. It’s not just something you drink to hydrate yourself, water is present in every cell in your body, a vital part of the transfer of nutrients into cells and toxins out.
The average adult is 60% water. Once you realize that you’ll understand why the quality of the water you ingress matters.
You may have assumed that all water is the same. However, water comes from the sky and filters into reservoirs and underground. In the process it passes through rocks and soil, picking up minerals, contaminants, and bacteria from its surroundings.
The water that comes out of your sparkling water taps has been treated at a treatment center. Part of this process includes the addition of chemicals that kill bacteria but could be harmful to your health. This and the contaminants picked up before the water gets to your home, are the reason that many homes have opted for filters, specifically these reverse osmosis Sydney.
But what about natural water sources, such as spring, mineral, or distilled?

Spring Water
Genuine spring water comes from water that originates deep underground. The water finds its way up and comes out of the ground naturally. This is a spring.
To get the best quality spring water the supplier has to go down to the underground water source and then bottle it at the source. You should note that many spring water suppliers don’t do this. If you take the water from the surface it can have a number of contaminants in it.
Spring water is generally recognized to be high in mineral content and good for your body. But, it’s impossible to know whether there are any other bacteria present.
Mineral Water
Mineral water is simply spring water that has had additional minerals added. This potentially makes it better for your body. However, the additional minerals may not be needed by your body and they do affect the taste of the water. You’ll notice mineral water has a metallic tang.
Distilled Water
Distilled water is the purest of all, it can rival the quality of reverse osmosis water filters. However, the distillation process is more time consuming, making this a more expensive option.
In essence, water is boiled and the steam captured. As the steam cools it turns back into water. The beauty of this process is that water boils at a lower temperature to minerals and contaminants. That means the steam is pure water. When it converts back to water it can be considered to be pure and safe to drink.
The safest options are distilled water and filtered water, ideally using reverse osmosis. However, because the distillation process is long-winded, reverse osmosis filters are generally considered to be a better option.
They can be easily fitted into your house water system and give you high-quality water at the turn of your tap. It’s doesn’t get much simpler than that.
