Hello World! Welcome Friends! Here we are in week two and already we have had a couple of hiccups. All of the moulding has been purchased, but our trusty saw turned out to not be so trusty anymore. So, off to the store Greg went to buy another saw. Just when he was about to start installing, the air compressor which we use for the nail gun had a part on it that failed. This unfortunately wasn’t one of those parts you could get at the store. So, an order has been placed online and we wait. Hopefully it will come in today or tomorrow and then we can get that portion finished up.
Since we were at a standstill for the moulding, I figured I should get started on the stencil. Below is my inspiration for the stencil.
Isn’t it pretty? I wanted to have a seamless look from the Breakfast Nook using the same colors in the stencil. Let me refresh your memory of the stencil in the Breakfast Nook.
The main colors I’m pulling in are blue, green, pink and tan. So far, the Powder Room has been painted to cover up the teal action that was going on in there. Plantation Shutters have been installed and I’ve started on the stencil. Are you ready for some pretty?
The sweet folks at Cutting Edge Stencils provided this beauty along with a stencil kit that has been extremely helpful! This stencil is going to be so gorgeous when it’s all done. Hopefully, I can get this knocked out fairly quickly.
Before I go, a big thank you must go out to Linda at One Room Challenge for organizing this Challenge and encouraging us to tackle one space in our house.
Here’s a reminder of the faucet, hardware and lighting that we have picked out.
