Hello World! Welcome Friends! Today is supposed to be the day of the big reveal for the Spring One Room Challenge. However, we did not finish…boo! Mine and Greg’s schedule exploded and time was not available to us. Also, there was a delay in the shipment of some of the hardware. But, I will show you what is completed. I promise to show you an update every week until this tiny room is finished!
As you can see we finished installing the crown moulding and the chair rail. And, Greg hung the light fixture a couple of nights ago with some assistance from moi! I have just the section around the window to stencil.
Below is the list of what needs to be completed:
Finish the stencil
Put decorative moulding up underneath the chair rail
Paint baseboards, trim, and moulding
Paint door
Install new door hardware
Install new faucet (Greg has this on his list for tonight if he gets home from work at a decent hour)
Hang new towel holder
Install new toilet paper holder
Paint and hang shelving unit
Paint trashcan
Hang artwork
Bit by bit, I’ll get this sucker finished!!
Before I go, a big thank you must go out to Linda at One Room Challenge for organizing this Challenge and encouraging us to tackle one space in our house.
Here’s a reminder of the faucet, hardware and lighting that we have picked out.

Hi:) I’m Lisette, I’m visiting from Char Trekking Through Living each day with purpose blog. I have to say…
Oh my goodness, I really enjoyed reading your blog…your such a spunky writer!! You make me smile:) Your housing projects remind me of my old house in MD…we re-did ever room. The kitchen was my favorite, tearing down the cabinets and finding old cartoon drawings from the previous owners, they were so amazing and original:) I love your stencil job, it’s absolutely beautiful. The light fixture makes your stencil job really pop…soo beautiful:)

So nearly there! I’m assuming that stencilling a wall like this is not an especially quick process but it will be so worth it when you’ve finished.
