Hello World! Welcome Friends! Whether your home needs a makeover, or you just want to spruce things up a bit, enhancing the curb appeal of your space is a good place to start. There are many options out there for the savvy homeowner who wants to know more about the best ways to enhance their home exterior’s appeal.
It’s even more important to do so when listing your home on the open market. A home with a great curb appeal has an instant draw that attracts buyers towards your property. Setting a great first impression is made that much easier, when the home has a great curb appeal.
Repainting Your Front Door
A popular way of enhancing the curb appeal of the home is to repaint your front door. This should be done by matching the color of the door to the overall theme of the house. The exterior of the home projects a lot about the taste and sense of aesthetics of the homeowners.
Repainting the front door also allows you to mix things up a bit, and let your home stand out in the neighborhood. It also creates a sense of dynamic energy that instantly lifts up the appeal of your curb. Make sure that you pick a dry day with low pollen levels, before repainting your door.
Landscaping and Weed Control
One in two Americans, according to research conducted by OnePoll, think that landscaping is the best way to enhance the neighborhood’s market value. Added to that 57 percent of homeowners believe that a dirty entryway is a top curb appeal “don’t.” It’s important to maintain your curb, by conducting regular landscaping and weed control.
In fact, pre-emergence weed control is one of the most important ways through which you can instantly enhance your curb appeal. It’s a simple job that a top professional in your neighborhood can conduct, while making your home look brand new.
Cladding
Cladding is one of the best ways to increase the curb appeal of your home. You can engage with a variety of local firms that have quality reviews and a high standard of service. Weatherboard cladding is becoming a top way to enhance the home’s appeal, owing to the variety of styles and designs available to the homeowner.
The best part about weatherboard cladding is that it’s low-maintenance and is designed to look sleek and sophisticated. They’re one of the simplest ways of enhancing your curb appeal, without investing too much into redeveloping your space.
Adding Door Décor
Many homeowners are opting to add home décor throughout the year. While the holiday seasons are particularly special for adding theme-driven decorations, homeowners can rotate many different ideas all year round. From adding tags to welcome baskets, there are simple things you can do to instantly enhance your curb appeal.
Homeowners are even adding painted pinecones to represent important moment in their lives, along with garden racks and pumpkins. Adding door décor instantly upgrades your home, while adding a more inviting feeling for new guests and neighbors.
Pressure Washing Your Exteriors
Hiring the right pressure wash company can instantly make your home look younger and fresher. You can remove dirt, grime and mold from the front of your home, to make it look like its initial self when you first moved in. Pressure washing can also be conducted on a variety of home fronts, including brick, cement and wood finishes. It’s one of the best ways to enhance the curb appeal, while being simple in execution. Your curb can have stains, dirt and old paint on it that should be removed as soon as possible.
It’s that time of year again; the leaves are changing color, the temperature is dropping, and pumpkin spice everything is back in season. Along with the autumn weather comes a slew of new chores to do around the house. One such chore is pressure washing your home’s exterior. This can be a daunting task, but luckily some professionals can help! Finding a reputable House Cleaning Company.
When washing your home, it’s essential to start with the roof. This is because all of the debris that has fallen on your roof will be washed down onto your other surfaces. Once the roof is clean, you can move on to pressure washing your siding, windows, and doors.

Visiting from The Happy Now Blog link up…and my goodness that kitchen in the first picture! So lovely! I have a friend who is a realtor and apparently the hot colors right now for front doors are dark blues and grays. It can actually impact the monetary value of your home upwards of six thousand dollars. Who knew? A new front door is actually on the top of the list for me and my husband. I want a solid door with no windows in it!

good tips! I agree the front yard is the first thing people notice so even if you haven’t had it professionally landscaped, keeping things manicured and clean will still make it look nice.

Awesome advice. I must say, the way those 3 HVAC systems are set up is absolutely gorgeous. As is that kitchen. Just lovely and great advice as well. TFS with #omhgww this week.

Excellent advice! It’s a matter of the house being appreciated and cared for. I always find it interesting that a lot of people do these things when they are ready to sell – when much of it is about keeping the house well-maintained.
