Hello World! Welcome Friends! I know you are wondering why I’m talking about pools when our pool is officially closed for the season. Now is the time to get things in working order and readied for another season of fun in the sun.
We have been chatting about some of the things that we would like to address with our pool and one of them is safety. We want to make sure that our pool and surrounding area is safe for our family and friends. We are especially concerned with Little Dedicated’s friends when they are over for a swim date. Fortunately, all of her friends are very good swimmers with several being on local swim teams. But, there are the occasional little siblings that come along for some fun and we want to make sure they are safe. We always have an adult outside when we have anyone in the pool or even around the pool. It makes me more comfortable knowing that our little visitors are safe when they visit.
Pool safety inspections are so important. We must make sure that children can not wander into our pool area and accidentally fall into the pool. So, we have gotten in the habit of always having our gate locked.
It’s also a good idea to have the fence inspected to make sure there are no loose boards that could easily be moved to the side to enable a little one to squeeze through.
This winter, other than making sure the pool and pool area is safe, we are going to make sure the pool equipment is in top working condition. We really enjoy our pool and want to make sure it provides many years of enjoyment.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a lovely/day depending on where you are in the world. Go with God and remember to be kind to one another!
Toodles,
