Hello World! Welcome Friends! Do you remember back in April when I got my birthday gift? Let me remind you.
One chair was damaged during shipping so we had to wait for a replacement to be sent. The damage is not that bad, but where do you go to have your patio furniture repaired or just spruced up a bit? You go to the Patio Guys who are the experts in
outdoor furniture repair.
Patio Guys has been in business since 1978 serving the Southern California area. They are now the largest outdoor furniture refinisher in the Southwest.
Nice, huh? Is your https://www.globosurfer.com/best-outdoor-patio-furniture/ worth re-doing? According to Patio Guys if it is a major brand of outdoor furniture, then yes. If you are not sure of the manufacturer, Patio Guys recommends refinishing furniture that has passed the test of time. In other words, has lasted five years or longer. Good to know.
On the Patio Guys website, there is an extensive explanation with pictures of their outdoor furniture repair process. Did you know you can save up to 70% just by repairing and refinishing your outdoor furniture as opposed to buying new?
For those of us who do not live in the Southern California area, here are some tidbits from Patio Guys that will help us keep our outdoor furniture looking brand new.
- Be sure to dust off any dirt and debris before cleaning you patio furniture.
- Use a mild detergent to clean your furniture.
- Be aware that certain water can contain elements that may stain your furniture. Be sure to rinse and dry your furniture thoroughly to avoid stains.
- Clean up any beverage or food stains immediately to avoid stains.
- If rain is forecast, remove any cushions that can be detached from your furniture and bring them inside.
- After a rain, be sure to wipe away excess water so that pooling and mold do not occur.
- Don’t put your furniture under trees. Bird poop is not fun to clean up.
- If you are not going to be using your furniture, you might want to think about storing it inside a shed or garage.
So let’s keep our outdoor furniture looking new with these simple steps.

It all looks great ! We put ours away in our storage shed during our winter here and keep it covered . In the spring we bring it out and wash it up and then set one of them up under our Gazebo and the other under our back patio porch ! Is that the view from your patio in the second photo ? Have a wonderful day !

I think it's great that there is a company that will recondition patio furniture! It makes it more worthwhile to invest in better quality if you know it can have an extended life. ~ Maureen
