Hello World! Welcome Friends! BBQs are an amazing way to make use of the good summer weather. Invite round as many of your nearest and dearest as you can, grill up a fiery storm, and serve up some delicious portions of seasonal food. What’s not to like? Well, if there are problems like these involved, your guests might not come away with the great memories you hoped they would! Prepare for them in advance and you’ll all have a great afternoon around the grill.
Read the Recipes Through All the Way
If you’re going to be BBQing a variety of dishes, you’re probably going to pull some recipes off the internet for ease and convenience. No problem at all with that, but whether you’re going to be making your own burgers, slow-cooking a Smoked Chuck Roast, or creating exquisite veggie kebabs for the herbivore in your family, you’ll want to be sure you’ve read through the entire recipe, including notes and method, to make sure you give yourself enough time to prepare.
If you don’t do this, you might leave that cut of beef in the fridge for too long, meaning it won’t cook well, or quickly enough, when it’s out on the BBQ. Sometimes a recipe calls for pre-preparation throughout the body of text, and doesn’t list it in the ingredients step above!
Many a BBQ has been ruined by this issue, so just to be safe, double check the recipe suits your time requirement before you decide to use it.
Keep Pests Away
Both inside your house and throughout your garden, pests can turn a BBQ party into a screamfest fest. You don’t want spiders, ants, and all kinds of other bugs crawling up your guests’ legs! Whether you’re out on the deck or you’ve brought the party inside because of the evening breeze, make sure there’s no cause for this beforehand.
Got a big wasp nest on the side of the house? Sick of seeing spiders crawling down the wall? Maybe you’ve seen a few Boxelder bugs about? You can view more about ridding your property of these little menaces through a quality pest control website. Visit this as soon as you notice there’s an infestation building up; you don’t want the problem getting out of hand.
Cook Slowly
Meat needs time to cook all the way through. This isn’t a job you want to rush! You want to keep the meat moving – turning a few times while cooking over a low flame is the best way to reach the middle without burning the skin on the outside. As such, you should get the BBQ going early on and get a good bulk of the cooking done before anyone even turns up.
This way your guests can have a cut of the good stuff from the moment they arrive. if this won’t be possible, you’ll have some amazing side dishes laid out to capture their attention instead. When you take your time, you don’t rush the menu, and that makes for the perfect BBQ party.
If you’re planning a summer BBQ party, make sure these three things aren’t going to leave a very bad taste!
