One Room Challenge: Teen Bedroom – Week Seven

Hello World!  Welcome Friends! We are nearing the end of our makeover and Chloe is itching to get back into her room.  The progress so far is as follows:  all walls, ceiling, and trim has been painted.  In addition all new furniture has arrived and has been assembled and lighting and some pictures have been hung.  Below are shots of the new desk and bookcase.

Both the bookcase and the desk are so dreamy in person.  My phone pictures do not do them justice.  Chloe is ecstatic with both pieces and I have to save they compliment her existing furniture nicely.  

What’s Left to Do

Rehang doors

Install Door Hardware

Install Door Stoppers

Install Sconces

Hang curtains

Style Room

We plan to knock these items off the list on Saturday.  We are also in the process of going through her closet and her dresser purging clothing and items she no longer likes or no longer fits. The closet transformation is still a work in progress and I will share that makeover after the One Room Challenge.  We are still looking for a light fixture for her closet that is gold, modern and will coordinate nicely with the light fixture in her room.
