Hello World! Welcome Friends! Many U.S states and cities have taken significant steps to curb the spread of coronavirus. These steps include closing schools, nightclubs, and restaurants except for takeaway services. As a result, these orders have forced nearly 95 percent of Americans to stay at home. As stay-at-home orders persist, many people working at home are also taking the opportunity to work on their homes.
Homeowners are now taking advantage of the shelter-in-place orders to tackle all those projects they have been putting off over the years. These projects include gardening, painting, scrubbing, staining wood, waxing, among others. If you are stuck at home during this period, here are a few projects you can tackle on your own.

Rearranging Items for A Fresh Perspective
If renovating your living room or bedrooms isn’t it in the cards at the moment, it doesn’t mean that you can’t make some changes. To start with, you can try a new furniture layout to give your living room a modern look. If you are an avid reader, you may consider restyling your bookshelves. Do the same thing to your bedroom and other bedrooms. This is the best time to declutter your house to give it a fresh breath.
Painting Project
There’s nothing that beats the appearance of a fresh coat on a wall. Repainting your walls breathes life into a room. You can start by painting the front door that you haven’t given attention to for many years. You can opt to undertake the painting project on your own or seek the services of a professional painter. If you want to give your house a new look, find house painters near you and pick the best candidate.
Cleaning Projects
Since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, there’s been a lot of talk about cleaning, and it’s for a good reason. But besides disinfecting the areas where you touch the most, you can take the opportunity to clean those areas you’ve been avoiding. For instance, you can embark on cleaning your HVAC system and vent covers and cleaning under your bed. Besides cleaning the interior of your house, you can also take the chance to clean outside the house. For instance, pressure-washing your siding.
Take Care of Your Garden
During this quarantine period, many people are finding interest in growing food in their gardens. You don’t need a large backyard to grow some fresh herbs. You can start by growing herbs such as rosemary and mint. You don’t need to have a green thumb to grow these herbs. If you have a bigger backyard, you may consider growing vegetables such as spinach and radishes.
What to Avoid
Although people are encouraged to keep themselves busy with various projects during the stay-at-home period, it’s essential to avoid projects that can cause injuries. For instance, this is isn’t the best time to engage in DIY construction projects. You can skip these projects and complete them after the pandemic. Now isn’t the best time to be in an emergency room with a broken bone or any other injury.
