Hello World! Welcome Friends! Hope everyone had a pleasant weekend. We were busy shopping, ripping out carpet and laying down new floor. Let’s just say, I helped with the shopping and taking pictures. The studio is the first room we decided to put down new flooring since it gets a lot of traffic with my voice students coming in and out. Here’s a before picture.
The carpet wasn’t completely bad, just a couple of spots that I couldn’t get out. Here are a couple of shots with all of the furniture removed.
Here’s a shot of The Dedicated Husband rolling up the carpet. Sorry for the view. He wouldn’t stop to pose for a picture.
All of the dust flying around after the pad was pulled up and the concrete swept.
We used TrafficMaster Allure Vinyl flooring. We didn’t want to spend a ton of money on this since this will not be our final house. But, we did want to make it look nice while we are here. Here’s a sneak peek.
She’s doing her version of break dancing. She did however manage to get some serious spin on this floor. We still have the rounds to put in, then the furniture and then a good cleaning since the dust bowl occurred inside my house.
I’ll post final pictures once we are all done. A huge Thank You goes out to the hubby for taking this on! What a guy.

I can't wait to see the finished reveal! By the way, I have a friend who lives in Canada who gives voice lessons to children!

that looks nice! Is that the no glue vinyl? We put it down in our old house and really loved it. Very durable.

Looks great so far! I'm sure it will be a beautiful finish! We are going through some "floor drama" right now! The tile in EVERY room is cracked…well, worse than cracked…More like chipping and loosing pieces when we walk, cracked! Needless to say, we are gonna be doing some floor remodeling in the near future.
Visiting from Fabulously Flawed Link party!
