Hello World! Welcome Friends! It is an undeniably exciting experience to shop for high-end condos, and especially in Miami. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the majestic Atlantic Ocean just outside your bedroom is a great way to start a morning indeed. Add to this a stunning patio that almost seems to hover on top of the ocean waves, and you have a dream home for those who love sun, sand and surf!
When buying a condo and looking to create an attractive interior, you need to focus as much energy on the condo building, and its surroundings, so there is a flow that is continuous with your unit’s decorations.
Inside the unit, you should look to keep things simple and clean with your decorating, and add colors in the fixtures and furniture rather than walls. Wall décor is a simple way to add color, texture and visual interest to blank walls. If you’re looking for ways to dress up your walls, consider adding décor or artwork to them that reflects your interests and personality.
Put Up a Gallery Wall
A gallery wall is a beautiful way to display photographs of families and friends. Choose from standard color prints or create a wall of black and white photographs. Before placing your collection on the wall, play around with the layout until you find one that best fits the space. Be sure not to hang pictures too high or too low. Opt for eye level if possible so everyone who enters can enjoy your art.
Add a Collection
It can be hard to showcase your art collections on stands and shelves. Depending on the type of collection you have, consider displaying it on the wall. Decorative dishes, picture frames and musical instruments are all good examples of collections that can be mounted onto wall. Once again, play with the layout until you find one that works best for your collection and wall space.
Condo Styles Can Affect Your Decorating
Miami has some of the most creative condo architecture in the world, with architects often getting the chance to live out their creative dreams through their designs. Although this often leads to aesthetically pleasing construction, it may be a challenge decorating within them. Garden-style buildings, including town homes, are more laid back and lend themselves to a causal decorating style. Towers run the gamut but often lend themselves to a more modern type of decorating. In either case you can go against the grain, but be sure if you do, you make it bold.
When moving into a new apartment home, you’re essentially working with a blank canvas. Fortunately, there are many creative ways to enhance your home. A great way to do this is with wall art and décor. So take it on and make something beautiful. And, if you’re looking for ideas and tips, talks to friends whose homes you admire.
Don’t forget, later in the week I will be sharing which house we chose and why! Have a gorgeous day/night depending on where you are in the world! Go with God and remember to be kind to one another!
Toodles,
