Meet Bessie the Cow – Country Glamour

Hello World!  Welcome Friends!  So back in early Fall, when we were doing the Fall in Love with Texas blog tour, I fell in love with BJ’s pigs.  Well, let me explain via a picture.

See?  Aren’t they cute?  I emailed BJ who is the mastermind behind the blog, Sweet Nothings where she picked up her pigs.  Kirkland’s was the place.  So, I popped online and blast it, if they don’t sell them anymore online!  I thought I would try the brick and mortar store to see if they might have any leftover pigs.  Alas, they did not, but they had Bessie!  Just look at her in all of her cute glory!

I know I’ve been slow to get art on the walls in our cozy family room; but I just didn’t know what direction I wanted to go in. 

Bessie now has a home over Mr. Dedicated’s leather couch. 

Isn’t she pretty?  

I have wall sconces coming to flank Bessie.  We definitely need more light around the leather couch.  The colors are so vibrant and she has the sweetest face.  

Now I need to find something to go above the other couch.  I really want a mirror, but I haven’t found one that I have fallen for yet.  Plus, it needs to be a certain size. Once I find it, then I’ll be on the hunt for curtains.  Also, I want taller lamps on the end tables.  I saw some a couple of weeks ago at Home Goods that I should have picked up, but I thought they would still be there.  Of course, we know the answer to that one.  Sigh.  Anyhoo, I hope you love Bessie.
