Hello World! Welcome Friends! Since moving into our new house I have literally hung only one thing on the walls. You remember, the big mirror in the breakfast nook.
I have been slow to hang pictures on purpose. I’ve been planning out the direction of each room and want to make sure I’m on the right track. That being said, I have a little one who has been voicing her opinion regarding what she wants to see on the walls in the Playroom and her Bedroom. One of the options she expressed was to have a gallery wall of our little family on one of the walls in the Playroom. Something similar to this:
Family Gallery Wall
These Gatorboard Prints are perfect to upload your own pictures to create a gallery wall tailored to your specific needs. I’ll admit, it would be lovely to turn the corner just off of the stair landing and see a gallery wall of the history of our family.
Foamboard printing is also a great and easy way to make your own artwork. You can upload your own family pictures or artwork to create the gallery wall of your dreams or showcase your own artwork.
Another option Little Dedicated suggested was to take some of her own drawings, scan them into my computer, upload them to FoamCorePrint so she can display her artwork in her bedroom. She is really quite the artist and we have saved a ton of her drawings; so this would be a great idea to get her room decorated as well as permanently save her artwork.
So these are a couple of the options we are thinking about to add to our existing artwork. The Playroom is a blank slate, because we don’t currently have any artwork for the space. So, the sky’s the limit.
I would love to hear what you think. It’s daunting to move to a larger house and furnish it as well as thinking about artwork for all of those blank walls.
