Hello World! Welcome Friends! I hope all of my US readers had a lovely Thanksgiving! I’m still getting the house decorated for Christmas. And, of course, there is an issue. The top section of our 14 ft. tree has mysteriously disappeared! We have been searching, but so far it hasn’t turned up. Sounds like, I’m going to have to get creative and manufacture a top using Christmas decor. I’m definitely not buying a new tree!
Alrighty, it’s your time to Shine! So, showoff your pretty!!

Kathryn, pray to St. Anthony. He will help you find the missing tree top. I know how frustrating this is. On Saturday when I put the tree up, a strand of lights was not working. After hours of fretting and trying different things, the suddenly lit up. It’s always my fear when I pull the tree out. I know you will find the missing piece.
I decorated our tree on Sunday, had planned to do the mantel today, but ran erands instead. Hopefully tomorrow. Thanks for hosting us and have a great week.

I’m sure it will turn up. There are a couple of bins I haven’t gone through yet. Hopefully, it will be in one of those! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your pretty! Happy week to you!

Great features! That cake on the wood server is amazing! And how in the world does one lose the top portion of a 14′ tree?! That cracks me up, Kathryn. It has to be probably 4′ itself, doesn’t it? But hey, I’ve driven myself crazy over some things I’ve lost and still haven’t found, so I’m not judging, but it is funny.
Thank you for hosting us, and I can’t wait to see how you doctor up your tree. Do share!

Oh, it is so funny! There are a couple of bins I haven’t looked in. Hopefully, it will be in one of those. Greg is completely at a loss since he takes down all of the trees and packs them away. I think it’s funny. Anyhoo, thanks for stopping by and joining the party.

You know, as soon as you create something fabulous for the top of your tree, you’ll find the top portion! My tree is up but not decorated yet. Hopefully today is the day!
Thank you for hosting the party.

Hi Kathryn,
Thank you for hosting. It sounds like you may have some little elves at work there. Funny how Christmas decor can disappear over the summertime – we are missing the cup thingy to secure the star to the top of our tree – where do these things go?

I know, right? It’s just too funny! Thank you for joining the party!!
