Make it Pretty Monday – Week 210

Hello World!  Welcome Friends!  It’s the first day of Spring!  I’m excited to see Spring shake out her tresses and show off her blooms.  In my neighborhood, the trees are showing green and bulbs have been working their way to the sun!  I love the awakening that takes place.  So, before we begin the party, I have two items of business to share with you.  One item is for rejoicing and the other for inspiration.  So, let’s get to it, shall we?

I am pleased to announce my nephew, Justin is newly engaged to his beautiful girlfriend, Anastasia!  It happened last Friday and we are so incredibly happy for them both!  Justin is a wonderful man and has found a wonderful woman who knows his heart!  Welcome, Anastasia!  We love you and are thrilled to have you in our crazy, fun family!  Another special note, the engagement ring was my Mom’s engagement ring that my Dad gave to her in 1956!  It’s perfect for Anastasia!  I know Daddy is smiling down from Heaven knowing his grandson has found the one to walk through this life with!  Let the wedding planning begin!!

    Happy Spring, Kathryn! It is always a day of rejoicing for me, as my daughter #1 was born on this date. Congratulations to your nephew! We just hosted a Breakfast at Tiffany’s themed bridal shower for my niece that I’m sharing today. I hope to be able to take time to see many of the spring home tours. It’s my favorite season!
