The Dedicated House.
Second thing: Kittens.
Okay, now for the collective aw! I took the opportunity while Mama Cat Colette was eating to snap a picture of her wee ones sleeping. Maybe I’ll post a picture every Monday so we can see how they are growing.
Now, on to the party. The features this week are spectacular, if I do say so myself! Welcome to Week 57 of:
Make it Pretty Monday
My Favorite
Pretty Barb took us along for a tour of Colonial Williamsburg. The molding gets me every time in these grand old places. To take the tour, pay a visit to The Everyday Home.
Make it Pretty Monday
Craft Queen
Pretty Callie spruced up her family’s lazy Susan with a great Martha Stewart stencil and some paint. Callie deserves a major pat on the back for this one. She posted the step by step woes that occurred while trying to make her pretty. I think she started over like three times! Way to persevere!! She’s a pretty Susan now. Head on over to Callie’s Crafts to see the stubborn Susan who became a pretty one.
Make it Pretty Monday
Shopping Queen
Pretty Susan shared her scores while out thrifting one day. Those flip-flops look seriously comfortable. To see the haul, pop on over to Sunflower Hugs.
Make it Pretty Monday
Furniture Transformation Queen
Pretty Susan showed us step by step how to reupholster a settee. This is one of the best tutorials I seen on this that makes it seem like not such a daunting task. To get the skinny, scoot on over to Uniquely Yours… or Mine!.
Make it Pretty Monday
Sewing Queen
Pretty Annie is back with another pretty creation for her darling daughter, Momo. This time it’s a sunflower dress. Buzz on over to Peaches and Bees to see this cutie.
Make it Pretty Monday
Culinary Delight Queen
Pretty Linda knows that sometimes there is nothing more refreshing to eat in the hot summer months than a delicious salad. She was sweet enough to share seven salads with us. Skip on over to With a Blast to pick out your favorite salad.
Make it Pretty Monday
Dessert Queen
Pretty Ellya created this scrumptious beauty…Butter Rum Cake with Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting. This almost looks too pretty to eat…almost. Ellya and her cake can be found at Curiosita Ellya.
Make it Pretty Monday
DIY Queen
Pretty Ellen is back, but this time with this Fabulous red back door that looks like a British Phone Booth! Oh, how I love this! Make a call (get it?) on Scribbler Unfocused to see it for yourself.
Make it Pretty Monday
Tablescape Queen
Pretty Susan…I think this is one of the best Independence Day tablescapes I’ve seen. The plates, the utensils, the tablecloth, and the Darling Seahorse candleholder. Summer and holiday all together on one happy table. Go to
Through My Porch Window to view all of the details.
Make it Pretty Monday
Home Decor Queen
Pretty Diane shared her lovely sunroom decked out for summer in soothing blue and white. Pay a visit to An Extraordinary Day to view more angles of this pretty room.
Make it Pretty Monday
Summer Decor Queen
Pretty Poppy, we’ve missed you! She shared her daughter’s recent graduation party with us that she hosted to honor her very own valedictorian! Huge Congrats and Hugs to Poppy’s oldest daughter! There are so many amazing details that you really must pay her a visit. Walk on over to With a Dash of Color to see this lovely event.
Make it Pretty Monday
Gardening Queen
Pretty Kathe’s summer garden is bursting with beautiful blooms. To take this inspiring garden tour, dash on over to
Kathe With an E.
