Hello World!  Two things before we begin.  I completely missed my two year blog anniversary on June 23rd.  Call it beach brain.  We were getting ready to leave for our little beach trip and it completely passed me by.  So, Happy 2yr. Blog Anniversary to 
The Dedicated House.  

Second thing:  Kittens.



Okay, now for the collective aw!  I took the opportunity while Mama Cat Colette was eating to snap a picture of her wee ones sleeping.  Maybe I’ll post a picture every Monday so we can see how they are growing.

Pretty Barb took us along for a tour of Colonial Williamsburg.  The molding gets me every time in these grand old places.  To take the tour, pay a visit to The Everyday Home.

Craft Queen

Pretty Callie spruced up her family’s lazy Susan with a great Martha Stewart stencil and some paint.  Callie deserves a major pat on the back for this one.  She posted the step by step woes that occurred while trying to make her pretty.  I think she started over like three times!  Way to persevere!!  She’s a pretty Susan now.  Head on over to Callie’s Crafts to see the stubborn Susan who became a pretty one.

Pretty Susan showed us step by step how to reupholster a settee.  This is one of the best tutorials I seen on this that makes it seem like not such a daunting task.  To get the skinny, scoot on over to Uniquely Yours… or Mine!.

Pretty Annie is back with another pretty creation for her darling daughter, Momo.  This time it’s a sunflower dress.  Buzz on over to Peaches and Bees to see this cutie.

Pretty Linda knows that sometimes there is nothing more refreshing to eat in the hot summer months than a delicious salad.  She was sweet enough to share seven salads with us.  Skip on over to With a Blast to pick out your favorite salad.
