Hello World! Welcome Friends! I have no new Entry Hall progress that I can share with you. But, I have been working on it every day whenever I can eek out some time.
Last week was so busy with school orientations and camp to get the incoming 6th graders acquainted with their new school and schedule. In fact, this week they have a time where we will be able to walk her schedule and practice opening her locker. They really make it easy for them. In my day, there was no easing into the new schedule. I remember for the first week of school everyone being late to most of their classes arriving with their schedule in hand. LOL. We have one week left to finish up some shopping and spend a little more time together. I will miss having her around the house, but I’m excited for her. She’s already met a couple of sweet girls that she’s excited to see at school. I do think she’s ready to go! Now, onto the party!
It’s your time to Shine, Shine, Shine!
Welcome to Week 305 of:
I am completely dreaming about Fall, sweaters and big pots of soup. Fall and sweaters will elude us down here in the South for quite some time, but soup will not! This Rotisserie Chicken Soup from Busy Being Jennifer looks amazing! Be sure to stop by to pick up the recipe.
How fun is this furniture makeover!! Dash on over to Rain on a Tin Roof to see what she started with, the process and a good story as well!
Speaking of stories, Belle Bleu Interiors has a doozy to tell! I won’t spoil it, but you will definitely want to pay her a visit. I will say this, I was surprised and there is lots of eye candy!
I love the elegant simplicity of this Fall wreath by One Thousand Oaks! Pop on over for the tutorial.
Rounding out the features is this basement makeover from Karin’s Kottage. There are so many great details in this space! Beautifully done!

Always a lovely party, Kathryn… and the ‘easing in’ process for your daughter is such a good idea on the part of her school. I don’t know about you, but I remember starting my freshman year with lots of trepidation… for the exact reasons you are talking about! So happy she is ready to go!
