Hello World! Welcome Friends! I hope all had a great weekend. We got back from our beach trip on Friday afternoon. We had a great time and fortunately no one got sunburned! That’s a definite win for me! The trip wasn’t without incidence though. At Schlitterbaum, while going down the rapids, my tube collided with another rapid rider and my head, right shoulder and right elbow hit the rocks. I was pretty much done after that. Fortunately, I only had a bump on my head and I left some of my skin from my elbow and shoulder on the rock. Oh, the excitement!
This weekend we played laundry catch up since Greg had to fly out yesterday to Palm Springs on business. Lucky man! The plan for this week is to finish painting the Entry Hall and get the hardware and chandeliers ordered. Hopefully, they can get here in time for Greg to install them when we gets back on Saturday. In case you missed it, I posted the Furniture, Lighting and Hardware Plan for the Entry Hall. I would love to hear what you think about the plan.
It’s your time to Shine, Shine, Shine!

Kathryn, I brought something a bit more photogenic this week! I don’t think my Split Pea Soup’s beauty was appreciated by many last week, don’t think it got any Pins! Sad, because it is soooo delicious. Oh well … I think my Peach Cobbler Muffins with Pecan Streusel Topping are real lookers! 🙂

Kathryn, sounds like you’re a hard-headed woman! All kidding aside, your accident sounds scary, glad you’re ok. Thank you for keeping the party alive. Now that my huge downsize is over (sharing tips), I’m ready to pretty up our new home with seasonal touches. Like you with your entry selections, it takes a little time to figure out how we want things, but that time spent most always pays off. Have a great week.
