Hello World! Welcome Friends! Well the time has come to say goodbye to Make it Pretty Monday. I have been thinking about shutting the party down for well over a year and now the time feels right. As everyone knows, blogging has definitely changed and link parties have definitely been affected by that change. On a personal note, our family schedule has gotten so incredibly busy and I just don’t have the time to do it all. In addition, there are a couple of new adventures that I will be embarking on that will require more of my time and effort. (More on that later) I will still be here posting as well as on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. In fact, I did manage to take pictures last week of the back hall and will have those live on the blog either later this week or early next week. Please know, I will miss seeing everyone and all of your projects. But, I will try to do better at staying in touch on Social Media. Thank you for making the Make it Pretty Monday party such a success and for gracing my blog with your lovely projects. May God continue to richly bless each and every one of you and your families! As much as I loved your party, I totally understand! I sell baked goods on eBay, and took a 2 week vacation when we recently went to Maya Riviera (were only gone for 1 week, but gave myself a couple extra days to pack before and recuperate afterwards!). Today was my first day back baking, packaging & shipping 4 orders, with more for tomorrow…. and I dread the coming holiday season already! … too old for this nonsense ~ maybe I’ll just bake for family & friends ….

I completely understand why you want to end the party. I will say I feel like I “know” more about the party hosts more than other bloggers. So at least your party participants got to know you a little bit.
