Hello World! Welcome Friends! Thailand is one of the world’s premiere holiday destinations, a tropical paradise nestled between two warm seas, with vast stretches of pristine beaches, inviting weather, and spectacular scenery. Millions of happy tourists flock to the Kingdom’s inviting shores every year to flee the winter cold and bask under the endless summer sun. The people of Thailand are world-renowned for their friendliness and gentle hospitality, it doesn’t take one long to feel as if you are at home with family, they are so generous and accepting. Then there is the food, which has joined the ranks of Japanese and French as world cuisines to be celebrated, made even more delicious by the wonderful fruits and vegetables that are fresh all year round!
Considering how wonderful it is to visit Thailand, you might think a lot of people would like to live there full time, and you would be right! The kingdom hosts around four million expats who live, work, and retire there, calling Thailand home, and they all love it! The Property developer in Thailand are busy year round preparing more wonderful residences for expats fleeing the winter sleet and snow to spend their golden years lounging by the seaside. The latest trend is the development of upscale residential communities on or near the beaches that provide a luxurious lifestyle for much less than one might pay for something similar in their country of origin. If this sounds good to you, let’s take a virtual tour of what waking up in the morning might be like if you were someone enjoying their retirement in a lovely seaside villa! Come, walk with me by the sea…
If your home is on the eastern coastline get up early to enjoy a fresh cup of delicious coffee while you take in the spectacular sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand. The coffee is grown in Thailand’s northern mountains by the fascinating hill tribe peoples, who have kept their culture and way of life intact without too much change for centuries, so you know your cup of Joe is locally and ethically grown. Next up is breakfast, a hearty western style repast is an easy option, items like bacon, sausage, and bread are readily available in the larger grocery stores, or do as the natives do and tuck into a big bowl of steaming hot jok, a scrumptious rice and ground pork porridge seasoned with ginger and spring onions! Yum!
Now it’s time for that walk by the sea we promised, the morning is the perfect time for it as the refreshingly cool salt breeze blows in from the bay. The sand is a rich golden hue, and feels so nice on bare feet as you wade into the gently lapping waves. Marvel as a great frigate bird with its purple sheened black plumage and distinctive red throat sac dives down to the ocean’s sparkling sapphire surface to snatch a wriggling sardine in its beak! The morning air rings with seabird cries, and the distant throb of a passing fishing boat’s engines as it heads out to the horizon. After a refreshing swim, it’s time to return to your villa and all its creature comforts.
Sounds nice? Come join us here on the beach!
