Hello World! Welcome Friends! This post is dedicated to the all important roof. Roofs are expensive and a necessity. But if you get a great company like Rio Blanco Roofing you can be sure to have a roofing contractor that will help meet your roofing needs.
We have been quite fortunate and have yet to replace a roof. In our previous home, we did lose a couple of shingles when Hurricane Ike blew through. Fortunately, it was a pretty easy fix for my husband. He replaced them himself and helped out several of our neighbors who also lost some shingles. It was very minimal damage and it was easy to repair. We were very blessed to have such little damage. Others in and around our neighborhood were not so fortunate. All around town you would see the blue tarps indicating major roof damage.
If you are in need of a roofing contractor, here are a couple tips that can help you out in your time of need.
Is the roofing contractor licensed?
Check to make sure that the contractor who is repairing your roof is licensed to do so. A contractor having a license means that this person has been able to successfully complete all of the required training that is mandatory for roofing contractors in your particular state. You should never consider hiring someone to repair your roof who does not have a contractor’s license. Unlicensed people will often give you a very low price for their work in the hopes that you will hire them. However, you will be setting yourself up for a disaster if you allow an unlicensed person to work on your roof. It is better to pay a little extra cash in order to ensure that you get the highest quality work possible.
Is the roofing contractor covered by insurance?
You will need to see the contractor’s proof of insurance before you allow this person to begin roofing repairs on your home. Do not simply ask the contractor if he or she is insured and take the person’s word for it. Only allow work to begin after you have seen documentation proving there is a valid insurance policy covering the contractor and all of his or her helpers. This will keep you protected in case any damage to your home is caused by the contractor or other workers. Even the most experienced roofing contractors will have accidents occasionally. This is why you need to make sure you will get compensated by the contractor’s insurance provider if damage is done to your home or possessions.
Should the need for a new roof or roofing repair arise, please use wisdom when choosing a roofing contractor. Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely day/night depending on where you are in the world! Go with God and remember to be kind to one another!

Sorry to hear that, Julie! I’ll miss you, but I’m trying to provide extra income for my family. I must think of them first. I wish you well.

Making sure your roofer is licensed and insured is an absolute must. If they can’t provide one of those documentations, you need look elsewhere right away. Thanks for sharing.
