Hello World! Welcome Friends! Winter 2020 is going to be a tricky one. Just like the rest of the year, COVID-19 is still prevalent; people are concerned about their jobs and their health, and then, of course, all those things that usually get people through the cold and miserable weather are canceled due to social distancing. So what can you do to make the most of this Winter and enjoy it as much as you possibly can?

You’re going to be spending more time in your home than ever before, so this is the perfect place to start and its important to prevent any winter misery by doing any maintenance you need to do on your house before it’s too late, so whether it’s window replacement, fixing the boiler or a hole in the roof then click here to get it sorted now before the weather gets any worse.
Once you have sorted out the boring and essential things, you can look at the more exciting things such as new homewares. Look at investing in some new thick curtains as they add an extra layer of insulation to keep you warm and while you’re doing this, you may as well get some new cushions and throws as they are essential for keeping you warm and you can get some nice festive ones to add to your Christmas decor.
Now you need to think about yourself, and Winter is a great time to treat yourself to some bath bubbles, candles, hair masks, face masks, salts, and scrubs – basically anything to make you feel nice and will help you to relax and to keep warm.
While you’re indoors, you may as well spend some time updating your wardrobe and as there’s not going to be the usual Christmas parties, then why not treat yourself to new winter pajamas and some loungewear to keep you nice and warm on those evenings by the fire. Get yourself some new slippers, a nice dressing gown, and anything else that’s going to make you feel excited about being at home and staying indoors to get you through the winter months.
Then you need to think about what you’re going to do this Winter when many of the events such as pantomimes and Christmas markets are off the agenda. However, winter walks are a great way to spend your time, and you can wrap up warm and get outside and explore new places that you have never been to before. Alternatively, when you’re in the house, there is, of course, plenty of TV to watch, so make sure you’re signed up to at least one subscription service such as Netflix or Disney+. This is also a great time to be spending with your family, so make the most of playing games together with your own household as well as virtually with others. Take it in turns to cook festive menus or bake cakes and together. You could spend this Winter going out for walks and coming back home to homemade soups and bread to warm you up.
