Hello World! Welcome Friends! Nothing beats being surrounded by beautiful flowers, lush greenery, and blooming vines. It’s also comforting to know that your wedding day will be surrounded by the same natural splendor. If you’re looking for a garden venue in Texas and want everything to go smoothly, there are a few things you should think about before making your decision. Continue reading for our helpful guide!
Decide Your Look
Before you begin looking for a venue, you must first decide on the type of wedding you want. This will help you determine how far your budget will go and what kind of landscape will complement the venue the best.
If you’re having a small ceremony and reception, consider holding it outside near family members’ homes or apartments so guests can easily drive over after the ceremony. If you have a large number of guests (and if they have cars), consider having parking in front of the venue so that no one has to walk far after hours of celebrating together at their favorite restaurant or bar.!
If money isn’t an issue, but you still want something unique, we’ve got just what you’re looking for: a vineyard! They have many options depending on size; whether you want something romantic like the one pictured above or a larger party like ours where guests were able to not only enjoy themselves but also get lost amongst acres upon acres of grapevines until sunrise came around again later that day – all while hearing live music provided by local musicians playing instruments such as violins/violas/basses, etcetera…it really does sound good, doesn’t it?
Set a Budget
The most important thing to remember when looking for a wedding venue is to set a budget. Some people may find this difficult because they do not want to feel as if they are making any sacrifices or limiting themselves. However, if you go into this planning process with realistic expectations and know what your needs are (for example, having enough room for guests), it won’t be too difficult!
Here’s a tip to help you figure out how much money you should spend on your wedding:
- Determine your financial resources and set aside a certain amount each month for your dream event. If there are additional costs associated with planning an elaborate event, such as food costs or travel arrangements, make sure these items add up before deciding how much of your savings should go toward those items versus other expenses such as flowers or decorations for tables throughout the reception hall/space outside the patio area, etc.
Find a Garden Venue That Matches Your Needs
When looking for a garden venue, it’s critical to find one that meets your requirements. Do you require a large area? Is there a child in the picture? How many people are expected to attend, and how much space will they require?
You should also think about the food that will be served at your wedding. The menu will determine how much food must be prepared, so if the reception includes a lot of appetizers or side dishes (or both), finding an outdoor space where everything can be displayed may be preferable to having everything inside in one spot all night long.
Figure Out the Details of Your Wedding
It’s time to start shortening down your options now that you’ve narrowed them down. You’ll want to find a wedding venue that fits your budget and has everything you’ll need for your big day. Here are some things to think about:
- The number of guests—If there are more people invited than there are tables at a restaurant or party hall, then it might be worth looking into renting multiple venues. For example, if one venue only seats 50 people but another can host 140 guests without an extra charge (like having an outside area), then go with this option!
- The date and time of your wedding—Do you have any specific dates in mind? If so, make sure they’re available at whatever venue will work best for them (or vice versa). Be sure whatever date does not clash with any other events planned around town; otherwise, things might get messy if someone accidentally shows up late due to traffic issues caused by construction crews working on nearby roads instead of taking care not only themselves but also everyone else who may have needed transportation…
Plan the Wedding and Reception Activities
Now that you’ve picked your wedding venue and have some ideas for the reception, it’s time to start planning. The first step is to find a wedding planner who can help you create an unforgettable day.
- Wedding ceremony: This is the highlight of your wedding. Since this is the highlight, you can turn it into something extraordinary. And how do you do that? The greatest factor is your lighting. You can add up fairy lights on your marching aisle and to your floral decorations to achieve that fairytale-like feeling. You can also spice it up more with flashing LED lights on the ceiling to also give an accent and a nice ambiance. Blingle! Northwest Houston TX has been providing this service to couples in Texas who wanted to achieve that perfect garden wedding.
- Reception: After dinner, guests should be able to enjoy themselves in the reception by dancing or mingling around tables set up inside or outside depending on weather conditions and space available. The guests will surely enjoy the reception especially when it is boosted with good lighting such as fairy lights wrapped on the chairs and guest tables. Lastly, the wedding reception will never be complete without taking pictures! Who wouldn’t love to pose for a picture in the reception with good light!
Make Lists, and Prioritize
As you think about the wedding, make a list of all the things that need to happen. Then prioritize your list and break them down into smaller steps.
Once you’ve come up with a list of all the tasks that need to be done, take some time to really think about how each task will be accomplished. For example, if you’re looking for a venue that can accommodate 100 guests and has plenty of space inside their building (which is something we do recommend), then figure out how many tables and chairs they have available on hand at any given moment, as well as how many people typically sit in those tables during events there. Once these numbers are identified, divide those numbers by 100—if there are 2 tables per aisle (which would mean 200 guests could fit comfortably), then every person who wants one must get their own table! You’re now ready to start planning out which days each vendor will work so everyone is able to secure access once they arrive on site; also remember that Fridays tend not to work well because there aren’t enough vendors working weekends so plan accordingly.
