She informed her husband, and he encouraged her to find a job to fulfill her.

Her inspiration for Pink Papyrus wouldn’t come until six months later, when she saw a woman walking her dog outside a store. The woman was very fashionable, and her dog was adorable, but the leash on the dog was drab. Once she learned about the limited options that dog owners have for providing stylish leashes and collars for their dogs, the idea for Pink Papyrus was born.

Dog Leashes: Building a New Business

Pink Papyrus was created with the newfound mission to give dog owners better options for treating their beloved companions. It wouldn’t be easy, however. Together, the founder of Pink Papyrus and her husband scrounged to make this dream a reality. It took them some time to find a manufacturer to deliver products of the quality and standard they wished to provide to their customers.

Funding would also prove challenging, with the pair committing to eating canned tuna for six months straight while working full-time jobs. These trials would pay off, as Pink Papyrus has grown to provide quality products through major retailers such as PetSmart, Chewy, and Gap.
