Hello World! Welcome Friends! Christmas is 18 weeks away and you need to start thinking about what you are going to buy your man this year. Every year, you leave it until the last moment and you end up buying him something that he really doesn’t need and you can tell he doesn’t like it just by looking at his face when he opens it. It’s time to change that expression from one of disappointment to one of happiness. Shopping for a man is difficult and it’s hard to know exactly what he wants, but have a look at these tips and hopefully one of them will be suitable for the man in your life.
1. Hobbies
When looking at gifts for men, check if he has any hobbies or if there is something that he really likes to read about. Check if he has any magazine subscriptions and if he has, what is the subject content. Try to pick something that will make his life easier or get him some new gadget that will make his hobby easier to do. An example would be if he loves cars and loves doing work on them, then get him a new tool that can get into those hard-to-reach places, or if he’s into hunting, a PVS-14 Gen 3 night vision device could be a great addition to his gear, helping him navigate in low-light environments. If he loves gardening, get him something that can fold out when he needs it and then fold away when he doesn’t.
2. Make it Personal
Try to get a gift that can be personalized. You may not think it, but men can be quite sentimental when it comes to these things. If he is into fashion, maybe get him something where you can get his initials embroidered onto it. For example, give him a stylish chained Full hunter pocket watch from Dalvey and have it engraved with a specific date or a heartfelt message for a more meaningful gift.
This shows that you have definitely put some thought into the gift and he will love it even more because it is something that his mates don’t have. He will love bringing that to their attention and lording it up over them.
3. Provide an Experience
As an alternative to getting a physical gift, why not buy him a gift voucher for something that he can do. Examples would be a rally car driving experience or an opportunity to go tandem skydiving. You have probably heard him dropping hints about wanting to try something daring, but you weren’t really listening. Maybe he is not into that sort of thing, but he is a theatre buff. Maybe get him tickets for a show that you know he would love, but just book and pay for the ticket, but let him be able to choose the date and the time. Or, if you live nearby and your man is a music lover, then get him tickets to one of the many Salt Lake City concerts that are happening this year. The lineups for these concerts are always amazing and he will surely appreciate the thought you have put into it.
4. Time is Precious
This may sound a little unorthodox, but what about just making time for your partner. Maybe both of you are just so busy and there is never any time for both of you to spend some real time together. Setting aside some quality time when both of you are free and can do stuff together, is the ultimate gift for him. Maybe just spending time with you is the best gift that you can give him.
Buying for a man is a difficult thing indeed but with a little thought and the tips above, you might just get the right gift this year.
