Hello World! Welcome Friends! Do you ever think that what the movies portray could be true? Maids trying on your outfits -wearing them better than you – watching ‘your’ TV shows and enjoying the perfumes on the glass mirrored trays in intricate, overly designed bottles. And even if they were, would we ever know? Or would they just finish their shift smelling like the mall’s fragrance counter? Yet we want them, need them, so we push those thoughts aside and let the professionals get to work.
Who, What, Where?
These days there are so many options when it comes to choosing a reputable cleaning service. We trust them because A: they have what we need, and B: the amount of background front round side round checks being done, it gives us a peace of mind. There are a few things to consider though before you make the final decision. Few minutes reading up about what you’re getting yourself into could not only make you awake to what’s to come but probably save you money by not going in blindly.
Check out some tips here. Looking up reviews on the company’s website is always a winner, they might mention things you wouldn’t have initially thought to look into. We do need to make sure though that when we hire a company they meet our personal needs. We need to ensure who we are hiring is a person as well as a service, having criteria in place will help all parties involved to know what’s expected and where they stand.
It can be for everyone;
Naturally, we are aware that having a servant girl, or ‘domestic worker’, is for the more affluent of families back then and carries through still to some extent today.
Be that as it may, the demographic is shifting. More maids are being employed to help people who are retired, younger aged families whose schedules involve a built-in taxi service for kids or even individuals who just can’t be bothered, whatever the case, cleaning services are on the rise.
I grew up my whole life with a maid, it was the norm, not because we were super-wealthy or because we were overly privileged, but because my mother was in desperate need of an extra pair of hands – don’t all moms! She was in her early 40’s with children of her own and I think my mother and her had a silent understanding of the struggles of parenting and the constant juggling act of life with kids. So, she cleaned perfectly and the relationship blossomed. The years have now all rolled into one long photo strip of memories.
3 ADVANTAGES OF HAVING A MAID OR CLEANING SERVICE:
- A tornado-free mind. We know after a long day at the office or long week, the last thing we want to do is have a weekend or evening of cleaning up. Having your housekeeper around, lets you come home, pour that wine and put your feet up knowing the work is done, and your mind can relax. Plus, everyone wants to be blinded from cleanliness when they walk in the front door don’t they…
- Employee vs Employer. You get to be the best boss you can be and make a difference in someone’s life, just having work could be what saves that individual. Be nice. You’re only setting another great example to the kids – if they’re in the picture.
- More time for yourself and family. All those hours and minutes spent doing the laundry and vacuuming and doing the dishes could be spent on days out, family memory-making or even quality time with your partner, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTm3_SToY8Y sums this up well.
What should we use?
Chemical detergent products are another factor that play a big role in the grand scheme, there are endless varieties on the supermarket shelves, bio this and eco that, where to start. Personally, if you have to crack open a window to get fresh air for a headache coming on, then that’s an alarm bell for sure, toxic substances are no fun, especially with children running around. Check labels and guidelines on packaging before any purchasing.
Often manufacturers will have a separate section of their label for the first aid steps, in case anything happens and you suddenly need them; suggestion, read these just to have them floating around subconsciously at least, knowledge is never a waste. Who knows, that random question might pop up in the PTA meeting one evening and boom, next thing you’re running the show.
Stress Free Future;
Cleaning companies have taken all this paperwork and testing onto their shoulders and done the leg work, so you can be safe in knowing that the products they use will be up to regulation standards, another box to tick off while making those weekend getaway plans. So, contact Maid to Please and let them take your ‘heavy-sigh’ of cleaning away while you focus on the finer side of life. That Prosecco isn’t going to drink itself.
There is an art to cleaning, believe it or not, it’s not about working hard and it is about working smart. Working from one side to the other, up and down, a system in place that gets the job done well and on time. Good-old time management. These maids can teach us a thing or two that’s for sure, all the while in our size 6 heels!
