Hello World! Welcome Friends! It has been quite the long minute since I’ve shared a decor post. These days, time is in short supply with Marching Band, work and trying to find time to clean the house, plan meals and prepare them. The struggle is real.
I decorated my mantel a few weeks back for Fall and decided to just grab my phone and take some pictures before it’s time to decorate for Christmas.
The lamps are new. But, they were not gold when I bought them. I loved the details, but not the silver finish. So, of course I painted them and used dark wax to age them a bit.
I totally spaced lighting the candles…I never think to do this during the day when I take pictures. The pumpkin art in the back was $5.00 at Hobby Lobby. It took maybe 15 minutes to paint using craft paint.
The florals, pumpkins, pitcher, and pheasant are items that I’ve had for years.
I love my wooden pumpkin. I don’t remember where I purchased it…probably At Home or Hobby Lobby.
The pictures below are a little vignette that is on the table behind the sofa.
This year I didn’t put out much Fall decor. I’m really having a hard time juggling everything. But, rest assured, Christmas will explode in this house!
On the project front, I’m wrapping up painting in the Primary Bedroom and also doing some trim paint updating the Dining Room. I want to get those spaces finished so that they are ready for Christmas.
