Hello World! Welcome Friends! Every homeowner who has a backyard knows how awesome private open space is.
Even if it’s a small yard, you can still go pretty wild and decorate them to your liking. But the thing is, most of us need a bit of inspiration to build something nice looking.
It’s a bit like decorating your house, and there are so many things going on that you can’t really decide on where to start. Should you go with growing garden plants or maybe building a backyard shed? Or what about making an awesome stone path?
Well, you get the point. There are a lot of things to build and play around with in order to create the perfect backyard. And because there are so many options, we decided to sit down and think about what are the best ones that you can go for.
And by best ones, we mean the ones that will give you satisfaction / cool factor to your yard. So, let’s get straight to the point, shall we?
Growing plants in planters is an excellent idea as it allows you to move and rearrange them!
Growing plants is pretty cool. While it can be challenging, having a bunch of modern planters in your backyard with beautiful flowers bringing a pop of color to the outdoor space is amazing.
While growing plants straight in the ground is also very beautiful, if you have a smaller backyard then definitely go with planters. You get to move them around and arrange them the way you see fit.
Stone paths are pretty awesome looking and they also very practical if you live in a rainy area.
Everyone who’s living in a rainy area knows how muddy their backyards get after a rainfall. That’s pretty normal, but instead of pouring a slab of concrete and absolutely ruining your backyard, consider placing a DIY stone path instead.
Stone paths have this ability to keep that natural, wilderness feeling in your backyard while essentially serving the same job as a concrete path would. It just looks better.
Have you ever considered building a fire pit in your backyard?
What’s a cool thing that both you and your kids would enjoy in the backyard? Well, of course, it’s a fire pit.
Whether you love cooking or just like to spend the warm summer nights under the start enjoys some quality family time, a well built fire pit can be just what you’re looking for.
Swap small pots for vintage recycled tins instead to add a bit of character to your home!
Big on recycling? Well, we’ve got something for you too.
While small flower pots can be cute, many of them are made of cheap plastic. It just looks like they’re sucking the soul out of the yard.
Our take on the plastic flower pots is to swap them with suitable recycled tins. They’re cute, and you can personalize them to make them suit the space better.
The only rule you have to follow when it comes to decorating your backyard is to do what feels uniquely you. So, go with what you like. Inspire yourself but don’t copy.
