Hello World! Welcome Friends! The first stencil project is now complete. This is the art niche that is in the little hallway just outside of the Master Bedroom. The stencil is the same one I used in the Breakfast Nook at our former house. I did change up the colors a bit by going with a lighter blue for the birds and a deeper pink for the flowers and some of the butterflies. And, towards the top of the stencil, I had to add some extra butterflies to fill the space.
Art Niche Hallway Stencil
You remember Chang from our previous home. I thought this would be a nice place to put him on display.
Here is a shot I took with my phone after I started priming.
I went with a lighter base color inside the arch to give it a little more depth.
It’s a dark little hallway, so the new light really helps to brighten the space.
I love this light so much better than the original “boob” light that was previously here. Achieve this magnificent artwork with the help of A Maker’s Studio on their awesome collection of materials and design that will inspire you to make on of your own.
I will tackle the Master Bedroom door and trim when I tackle that space. But, doesn’t the trim look so much better in glorious white?
I’m looking forward to the day when we can replace the flooring. Currently saving up for that project.
Paint Colors:
Walls: Sherwin Williams First Star 7646
Inside Arch: Sherwin Williams Snowbound 7004
Trim: Sherwin Williams High Reflective White 7757
Now onto the next project!

This turned out so beautiful. What a lovely way to accent the arch and your statue looks amazing sitting there with the background.
