Kathryn, I agree with you. Judith’s bluebonnets is my favorite. We are so fortunate in the state of Texas to be graced with these fields of blue in the spring. Thanks to Lady Bird Johnson many of our highways are lined with bluebonnets and other wildflowers. What amazing vision she had for our state. She started the movement when I was just graduating from high school, so I’ve been witness to the abundance of beauty that has bloomed though the past fifty years thanks to Mrs. Johnson’s beautification program.
I’m tickled to see that my look back at Easter tables was a fan favorite. It was fun for me as well to look back. 😉 Thanks for the feature and for this wonderful party each Friday. Love blue!

Thank you for sharing my post about Texas bluebonnets, one of my most favorite things in Texas. I look forward to seeing them every year and make a ritual of trying to spot my first bluebonnets. Thank you for hosting Anything Blue Friday. I always love looking at all the blue inspiration gathered in one place.
Thanks also to Sarah for her kind words and tribute to Lady Bird for her leadership in planting wildflowers on our highways and in bringing wildflowers to the attention of our entire nation.

Beautiful features and of course the blue bonnets are my favorite. I’m on the lookout for the perfect field of blue to photograph. There’s one that should be in full bloom this coming week. Can’t wait to stand in them and breathe in their scent. Love them!
