Hello World! Welcome Friends! Unless you live on a tropical island such as Bali, Indonesia. The less maintenance you need to do on your house both inside and outside, the better. But you don’t need to have to be a bore about it, there are tons of options to choose from that will not only enhance your backyard, but it will give you a reason to use it more during spring and summer seasons. Plus, your friends will like you more! Who doesn’t want that?
Besides the fact that this option can make your home look ten times more luxurious and be the envy of your neighbors, there are also other more practical reasons to get your patio paved by professional patio pavers and this article will give all the reasons why you should start looking for to get one done now before it’s too late and you’re out of season.
- Looking at the bigger picture, it’s a fact that what you put in is what you will get out. Houses are the same – any extra construction or enhancements that you do to it, will increase the resale value, perhaps even double or triple it. A lot more owners are starting to get with the program of having a patio rather than a garden, and in the case, you do sell it one day, yours will be more lucrative to buyers than the guy with a garden that needs constant maintenance.
- Secondly, the obvious reason is, you will get more space. A large area like a patio will give you a lot more space to move around, which you can turn into an outdoor gym or exercise area. You could put a garden chair and sit in the sun and bask. It could be your personal space to unwind.
- As mentioned earlier, there is an array of different designs for patios that will enhance the look of your place. For instance, you can get a fire pit built in your back yard, or an outdoor water feature, which is always a lovely addition to any home, you can get a rock garden and pavement all around it, and other ideas. You can truly turn it into a beautiful and unique area.
- What would be the point of turning your backyard into a patio if you can’t use it to entertain a crowd? This space can be perfect to have your parties and barbeques, weather its fourth of July or a birthday party, it’s far better to have it outdoors than indoors where the risk of a mess is higher and the cleaning up will take forever. Get a garden setting, with a few chairs and an umbrella or perhaps get a barbeque stand built as well. You can have your Sunday lunches outdoors. It can’t get better than that!
Now that you’ve decided which of the above designs you want to go ahead with; you will want to contact several patio companies to see which one will help you with your design and give you excellent pricing.

Wondering what is the approximate ratio between the number of 6×9 and 6×6 stones that are used. I have a 300 sq ft area. Should I assume 150 sq ft of 6×6 and 150 sq ft of 6×9 so the ratio is 1 to 1?
