Hello World! Welcome Friends! More and more people are decorating their homes with a rustic home decor. The rustic look attempts to include wood and metal together to look like your home is in a forest. Here are some ideas for turning your home into a rustic retreat.
Basic Components
The basic rustic look is based around familiar woods animals. These animals are usually bears and elk, some of the largest animals found in the forest. The Burley Bear Company features are variety of great rustic furniture. Usually walls are covered with a wood layering, often oak or redwood. Furniture for the living areas is usually made of wood, with tree branches forming visible arms and legs of the chairs. The chairs are usually covered with cushions featuring animal and forest designs. Popular colors at The Burley Bear include green, maroon or browns.
Lights usually feature an antler look with lights. Walls are hung with forest images or modern metal hangings. Often, the main rooms feature bookcases and shelving made of wood as well. The floor is usually covered with a thick rug featuring a geometric design that fits the motif of the room. Often chain saw wood cuttings form tables of all sizes.
Bedrooms
Bedrooms have a bed with a rustic backboard. The Burley Bear features backboards in a number of wood designs and sizes. Some are clearly designed for children’s rooms. Usually the bed is covered with a quilt that features forest animals and rustic colored designs. Dressers and other furniture is usually made out of a dark wood that goes with the peaceful sphere of the rustic look. Mirrors and a throw rug complete the design of your rustic bedroom.
Bathroom
Bathrooms tend to be playful, consisting of the usual porcelain appliances. Walls are often a light beige or brown. Light fixtures are often metal designs featuring bears, beavers or elk. The Burley Bear has some great light fixtures featuring bears. On the walls are hung metal animal pictures, such as animals walking through the woods. Towel racks, soap dishes and towel holders fit into the design.
Windows
Many rustic homes don’t use window coverings over windows in the living areas of the home. In the bedrooms and bathrooms, wall coverings can be fabric or metal panels. A variety of these will fit in with the décor, and you can choose how much light and heat you want to let enter or exit your rooms. Even the new blinds that open with remote controllers work well in a rustic home. The Burley Bear features window coverings that range from blackout curtains to simple window toppers.
Rustic is a great look for your home. It forms a peaceful and serene milieu for a great home atmosphere.

Thank you for these decorative ideas. The rustic decoration has its charm, but you should not be mistaken about the choice of materials and the configuration of the rooms. I find that these photos reflect the essence of this type of decoration.

The only thing i don’t like about the use of rustic design is that a lot of materials used are wood. Its not really a good investment if you expect it to still be in good quality for a few years. But I definitely love this design. Sitting in the couch on a rainy day with dim lights on while drinking hot chocolate, wonderful!
