Hello World! Welcome Friends! Do you want to watch your favorite Baseball Team playing but its raining outside? Don’t worry; we are here to help you out. We are giving you some smart tips that will help you enjoy the game despite whatever the weather is.
1. Bring the Umbrella but Don’t Be Annoying
The Umbrella will keep the rain off you, but they are not meant to be raised above your seating bowl. You need to mind other viewers. So, yes, some stadiums do allow you do take the umbrella inside, but they prefer if you don’t open them while in your seat.
2. Fabrics and Garments
It doesn’t matter whether you are sitting in an Aisle or at Red Sox Suites, you need to be careful about what you wear. You better avoid suede and leather especial if they are not protected with a protectant. Moreover, avoid wearing denim and cotton as these fabrics absorb and hold moisture. Water resistant and breathable rain jackets are recommended.
3. Layers
You need to layer up, so you have options in case something goes south. You have to start with the base layer and add a second one for warm. The last layer should protect you from weather elements. You can also shed or add layers if needed.
4. Use A Poncho
When you are going out to see a game, and you expect the weather to get worse, then you best pack a poncho just in case. These are not breathable. So, don’t wear them if you don’t need to. Don’t worry; you don’t need to break your bank to get one, a clean (unused obviously) trash bag will do the job.
5. Water Proof Shoes
It’s better if you wear waterproof shoes to the game instead of ruining your new expensive ones. The last thing you want during the game is wet feet and socks. Sneakers are comfortable and warm, but they are not weatherproof. You need boots and galoshes if you want to keep your feet dry.
6. Bring Some Towels
If you are expecting some rain, then you better grab a towel to dry off your seat. Get two towels instead of one and make them microfibers. These towels are better absorbent and helpful when it comes to drying something off.
7. Use Clear Plastic Bags to Protect Your Stuff
Just because your Phone has an IP something rating, it doesn’t mean you should test it out in the rain. Be smart and protect it with a plastic bag. This way, you won’t worry about any water damage. Just mind the condensation inside the plastic bag.
8. Wear Hats
When it’s raining, you better wear a hat. Wearing a hat will keep your head dry and keep you from getting cold.
9. Plastic Bags Again
You need to bring along some plastic grocery bags because you don’t know when you might need one. You have to wrap your stuff in them to keep them safe from rain. You can also use them to contain your wet clothes or towels as you leave.
