1. Christmas SunCatchers
SunCatchers are a wonderful office decoration because they’re simple and won’t get in the way of anything or anyone. There are plenty of different designs to choose from and you can even have your employees decorate their own to hang up on the windows in the office. When the light shines through, it’ll light up the suncatchers and bring holiday cheer to everyone.
Another great idea is to have your employees take their suncatchers home and have their children or another family member paint it for them. Be sure they use special paint for suncatchers. Then, they can bring it back to hang on a window near them.
Each time they look at it, they’ll be reminded of their loved ones and of the holiday spirit.
2. Wrapping Office Doors
Another easy way to decorate is to gift wrap your office door. You can do this with the exterior doors and the interior doors. Be sure to buy durable wrapping paper and then wrap one side of the door.
You can even stick a bow on there if desired! Each person with an office door can choose their own wrapping paper design so there are different holiday designs all throughout the office!
3. Outdoor/Indoor Christmas Tree
What would Christmas decorations be without a Christmas tree? Be sure to include a tree in your decor. If you have an artificial tree, then you can place it inside the office without worry about spilling water or getting the carpeting dirty.
If you want to have a real tree, then consider placing it right outside the front of the office. Both are great ways to celebrate the season and make everyone feel cheery. Fake snow and ornaments will add to the tree’s holiday feel.
You can also consider wrapping empty boxes and placing them under the tree for looks, or having your employees do a secret Santa and place all their gifts under the tree if located inside. This is a great way to bring Christmas to the office.
4. Christmas Floor and Window Decals
Floor and window decals are another awesome way to decorate the office with minimal effort. You can find snow footprints of Santa’s shoes and other fun decals for the floor. You can also find window decals in any design you can imagine.
All you have to do is peel them off their wrapper and slap them onto the floor or window depending on what kind they are. They’re easy to use and peel off without a problem as well!
5. Hang LED Light Cords
Hanging actual Christmas lights is always an option, but can be a bit tedious at times. The lights can go out and get tangled as well. Hanging LED light cords is another option you have.
LED light cords are easy to hang and are less frustrating to deal with. They come in a variety of colors and some even have different settings for blinking lights as well. Because the cords are flexible, consider creating various Christmas shapes out of them as well.
6. Employee Face and Santa Hat
If you want to make things even more fun around the office, then you can print out and enlarge a picture of each employee’s face. Then, bring out or draw and laminate Santa hats. Tape or glue their face to the Santa hat and hang them over their desks.
You can also tape them to the walls around the office or on the sides of their cubicles. The end result will have everyone laughing!
7. Christmas Designed Cubicles
If your employees have cubicles that they work in, then decorating each cubicle can be a fun idea as well. Allow each employee to get creative and come up with their own Christmas theme or decoration idea. To make it more competitive, you can even have a contest to see who comes up with the best cubicle decoration idea!
Allow them to use wrapping paper, gift bows, markers, paper, ribbon, and anything else in order for them to be as creative as possible.
8. Hang Stockings
>The last idea on this list is to hang stockings! If you plan on doing any type of gift exchange in the office, then stockings are a great way to do so. You can hang the stockings on each person’s cubicle or hang them all together on one wall.
You’ll be surprised by how much your employees enjoy stuff the stockings full of goodies for one another!
