Hello World! Welcome Friends! Whether you’re looking for a gig that allows you to quit your full-time job or just another way to bring in some extra income, it’s nice to have something that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home. After all, who doesn’t love making their own schedule and working in their pajamas? However, when looking for a work-from-home job, you’re often inundated with fake ads or people who want you to do all this work for nothing. Instead, you want to be sure whatever you’re doing allows you to earn the extra money you’re looking for by doing reasonable work. Thankfully, there are options out there that make sense, and here they are:
1. Take surveys.
There are plenty of companies out there who will pay you money or send you gift cards just for taking online surveys. The money isn’t always high, but if you can make a couple bucks for 30 seconds of your time, it could be worth it. Think about multi-tasking while you’re watching TV. If you can focus on two tasks at once, consider popping open your laptop or tablet and take some surveys for some extra cash while you’re binge-watching Netflix.
2. Write blog articles.
It seems like everywhere you look there’s a blog about something, and that’s a good thing. For those of you who can put pen to paper (or finger to keys), consider writing a guest post for some of your favorite bloggers. Some of these individuals are willing to give you money for your efforts. If you have the time and topics, you can start your own blog. Sure it may not generate any money right away, but if you can get some sponsors, advertisers, or even affiliate marketing partners, you can see the cash start to come in.
3. Write online reviews.
Companies want people to love their products, but they also know consumers will trust other consumers before trusting what the company itself has to say. Online review sites are becoming more and more popular every day, and some of these sites will pay you for writing a review. Some companies like All-Year Cooling, has an AYC reviews page dedicated to encouraging customers to share their thoughts and opinions. In addition, you could also reach out to certain companies directly and ask them if they offer any incentives for writing reviews. You may find yourself with some free gear, gift cards, or even cash just for sharing your opinion with others.
4. Get involved with a franchise.
There are a lot of home-based businesses out there that allow people to franchise, and this is a great opportunity for those who want to work hard but still are in need of some help. A home-based franchise allows you to take advantage of another company’s product or service, but be the expert in your area and reap in the benefits of having your own company. Keep in mind this may be a little involved, so if you’re just looking for a side job, this may not be the best opportunity.
5. Use your skills.
Do you have any home-based skills you could put to good use to generate some income? For example, if you have some great graphic design skills, consider freelancing your skills in your free time. Are you good with scrapbooking or paper? If so, why not make some invitations or cards and sell them through online sites like Etsy or local social media sites in your area?
6. Sell things.
Back when eBay first launched, people made a ton of money by picking things up from local garage sales, marking up the price, and selling them on eBay. You can still do the same thing. Travel to some local garage sales or vendor fairs and pick up some items for cheap you think people would like. You can either try to resell them on your own, or even opt to make something better and sell it for a higher price. Upcycling these products can allow you to put your skills to good work and make some money while doing it.
7. Start a home-based business.
Aside from a franchise, you could also start a home-based business. For instance, if you enjoy baking, you should start your own bakery or catering company from your kitchen. If you love kids or animals, start a childcare or pet care facility in your home. This allows you to provide a service to others without a hefty overhead.
Working from home has a lot of perks, and plenty of people are opting for work from home opportunities to help supplement their income.

Thank you for the information. I am always looking at ideas to add to my income. I am a Pink Zebra rep and I sell on eBay and Craigslist also.

Wonderful tips! but I would like to add, you can not only make money from your home but also through your home if you have empty rooms or spaces by renting out rooms or renting out empty spaces to campers.
