Hello World! Welcome Friends! Spring is a beautiful season when nature transforms its appearance. It peels off its cold and lifeless skin and dresses up in an elegant look. Birds come out, and the trees become colorful. The days become longer to make you feel more energetic.
Spring is a great time to clean up your house after the lifeless, cold winter and make your home livelier. The Spring-cleaning session is a great activity to reshape your house. But while cleaning, most people skip some critical areas of the home. Glimmr has suggested the seven neglected yet significant areas you must add to your to-do list.
Mattress and Pillows
Your mattresses and pillows are pretty essential members of your household. They should be included in your to-do list for Spring cleaning. It is effortless to clean them. For the mattresses, dust them at first, spray some baking soda and scrub the mattress. Finally, use your vacuum cleaner to make it tidy. You can easily throw the pillows in the machine with extra spin to let out most of the moisture for the pillows.
Below The Bed
Have you ever checked what’s below your bed for a change? You might not find a monster, but you sure can face a monstrous mess you might have created over time. To clean up the mess, go through all the stuff at first and find optimum places for them. Then you can dust and vacuum to make the area is tidy.
The Bookshelf
The bookshelf is the area which everyone cleans from the outside, most often. Even I did. But if you start to take out the books and look inside, you might not feel happy. So clean the area up and when you put the books up, try to organize them when putting them back.
The Washer and The Dryer
Your washer and dryer are some of the most used equipment when you dive into spring cleaning. But you should also clean the equipment as well. You can simply clean the washer using vinegar. Pour half a cup into the washer and start the hot cleaning cycle. You can also use cleaning solutions to do the outside of the equipment.
The Pantry
Your pantry sure gets messy over time as you use it. And a messy pantry can be a frustrating thing. You can hardly find anything in a mess and even come across foul odors of unseen degraded material. So, go through all of the stuff in your pantry and throw away the rotten ones. Also, you can organize the items according to their categories.
The Garbage Disposal
Is your garbage disposal spreading foul odors? Time to get it clean. Use a cup of white vinegar to wipe the inside. You can also leave some pieces of lemons inside to prevent foul odors.
Drawers
Your desk drawers are another place that can get dirty over time—papers, money, gum, and what not you can find in them. Give them a look and clean up as necessary.
Verdict
Spring cleaning is undoubtedly a heavy job to do at the same time as being enjoyable. While cleaning, include these areas as they also need cleaning up alongside the rest of the house. So let’s get on with the Spring cleaning and happy cleaning!
