Hello World! Welcome Friends! Do you want to make improvements to your home because you want to make it more comfortable to live in? Or are you more concerned about the value an improvement will add to your house when it comes time to sell it? Most home improvements are done because owners want to make a difference on one or both of these fronts. Whichever camp you fall into you want your home improvement to be worth the investment. Here are 6 that you might want to consider.
Wood Deck Addition
When it comes to home improvements, many people forget about the outside of their home. Outdoor living spaces are becoming more popular so now’s the time to think about yours. A backyard deck or patio can be a space everyone can enjoy. Add a covering, and a wooden garden dining table and chairs and enjoy the space whether the sun is shining or it’s raining. Wood is the material of choice, and it will provide the best return on your investment.
Kitchen Refit
It might be easy to get carried away with this improvement but try to reign in your spending. Break it down into several smaller projects, and you won’t have to spend your budget all at once. Start by repainting your cabinets and replacing the hardware. Save some more cash and then you can consider replacing the appliances for more energy efficient models.
Home Solar Systems
We’re all becoming far more environmentally conscious nowadays, and many homeowners are now including solar power in their list of home improvements. With the cost of electricity always increasing it makes sense to look for ways to reduce energy consumption and energy bills. Not only that it’s an eco-friendly choice to make and will increase the value of your property when it comes time to sell. Installing residential solar panels from Going Solar is an investment that’s definitely worth considering.
Window Replacements
Old, damaged or tired looking windows can make your house look unloved. Upgrade your windows with low-energy vinyl window replacements, and you’ll get a good return on your investment. It will also make your house look more attractive and modern when the time comes to sell it.
Bathroom Remodel
Giving your bathroom a whole new look doesn’t have to cost thousands of dollars. A small remodel can include a new coat of paint, new light fixtures, replacing knobs and faucets and installing new shower doors. This kind of investment is going to bring a better return than granite countertops and a grand bathtub.
Attic Transformation
This is often the place where holiday decorations, old family photo albums, and heirlooms are kept; however, this space under the roof can be transformed into a new living space quite easily. It might be a bedroom for your teen or an office space for you to start your new freelance career. Whatever you decide to use it for this additional space might be a long term project, but it is worth the investment.
Now you’ve got a few ideas up your sleeve it’s time to put aside some money to pay for them and find the space in your schedule to work on these projects.

I cannot even believe how quiet new windows and doors made to our home.
