Hello World! Welcome Friends! There is no better way to celebrate a nice day than by throwing a BBQ feast for your entire family. You know that you need to have certain knowledge so that your barbeque meat and veggies turn out super delicious. Luckily, these are simple things you can learn along the way and become a real professional at making barbeque meals.
The best part about barbeque recipes is that you can make these meals in no time and there is still a note of luxury and richness in barbeque meat. So, we have selected six tasty barbeque recipes that will take your family lunch to the next level.
Korean Chilly, Honey, and Sesame Chicken
Nothing compares to tasty, barbequed kebabs. A kebab always goes down well on the barbecue, and a perfect mix of sweet, savory, and hot will make your taste buds dance. This Korean chicken is covered in a sticky glaze, and to make it even more luxurious and fresh, scatter some fresh spring onions over the chicken. The procedure and preparation are super simple, as are the ingredients needed.
Ingredients:
- 12 chicken thighs (skinless and boneless)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp soy sos
- thumb-sized grated piece of ginger
- 4 sliced spring onions
For the Glaze:
- 4 tbsp of Korean chili paste (if you do not have Korean chili paste, a mixture of 3 tbsp of ketchup and 1 tbsp of sriracha chili sauce will do the job);
- juice ½ lime
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Preparation:
STEP 1:
Make a mixture of soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil. Thread each thing onto the two long metal skewers and keep threading them until the meat is not packed onto the skewers tightly. Leave the meat in the marinade and chill it until it is ready to cook. Prepare the mix for the glaze.
STEP 2:
Heat the BBQ. If you are using coal, then you need to wait until the coal is ashen. In addition, you need to be careful when buying the barbecue, and you can be sure that your Z Grill BBQ will not let you down during the process. Anyway, when the BBQ is heated enough, put your kebabs on the grill and cook them for 5-8 minutes on each side (but it can depend on the heat). Once the kebabs are cooked, start gently patting on the glaze. The key to making nice and sticky chicken is to pat on the glaze in layers, turning the kebab so that the honey does not catch.
STEP 3:
Once the glaze is used up and the chicken is finely coated and cooked through, which will take about 20 minutes in total, you can transfer the meat to a plate and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving it with scattered spring onions.
Swedish Meatball Burgers
There is no good barbeque without homemade burgers, and if you are a fan of Swedish meatballs, this recipe will be your favorite from now on.
Ingredients:
- 500g of lean beef meat
- 1 coarsely grated onion
- 1 beaten egg
- 25g dried breadcrumbs
- grated nutmeg
- ¼ tbsp garlic powder
- sliced cheese, burger buns, sliced tomato, lettuce, and sauce per your wish
Preparation:
Mix the mince, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, nutmeg, and garlic powder in the large ball, and once you have a mixture, generously season it with black pepper. You should mix it all with your hands, make six small patties, and transfer them to a plate. Let it cool for 1 hour.
Preheat the barbecue to medium or until the coals have turned gray. Cook the burgers for 10 minutes, and turn them occasionally. Before they are completely cooked, place sliced cheese on top and let them cook for another minute. Once the burgers are cooked, serve them in buns with the lettuce, tomato, and sauce you have chosen.
Barbequed Ribs
Ingredients:
- 2 separate rib stakes
- potatoes, carrots, tarragon, chiefs (for the grilled vegetables, optional)
For the bearnaise sauce:
- 225g of unsalted butter
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp of white vinegar
- 1 tbsp chopped tarragon
- 2 egg yolks
Preparation:
Preheat the barbecue, or if you have a coal barbecue, wait until the coal is glowing hot. Meanwhile, you should start preparing your own bearnaise sauce. You need to put butter in a small pan on very low heat and wait for it to melt. Skim if there is any scum on top of it and pour the clear butter into a bowl. When the butter is prepared, mix the tarragon, vinegar, shallots, 1 tbsp water, and some black pepper into another small pan and let it boil. When the sauce is reduced, cook the yolks in the hot water bowl until they turn creamy. Remove the yolks from the hot bowl and gradually whisk in clarified butter until you get a creamy sauce. After that, add in a reduced sauce made of tarragon and shallots, and season it with some salt.
When the sauce is ready, start preparing the ribs. Season them well on both sides and barbeque them for 9-10 mins on each side for preparation, and 13 mins on each side for medium-rare. When the meat is cooked, serve it with grilled veggies.
Buffalo Chicken Burgers
Marinated chicken thighs in rich buffalo sauce for the best-barbequed chicken meat you will ever taste.
Ingredients:
- 8 boneless and skinless chicken thighs
- 100 ml of buffalo hot sauce
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp sweet, smoked paprika
- 1 ½ tbsp garlic granules
- 4 slices of Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 burger buns
Preparation:
Mix vinegar, buffalo sauce, maple syrup, garlic granules, and smoked paprika in a bowl and pour it over chicken thighs. Chill the meat overnight. The next day, preheat the barbeque, and if you are using coal, wait for it to ashen. Grill the meat for 8 minutes on each side and pat it on if there is any marinade left. When the chicken is cooked, cut the chicken slices in half and place each half on the meat. Once the meat is cooked, put it in the buns and top them with salad as per your wish. We recommend ranch slaw.
Maple Glazed Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 1kg chicken wings
- a little oil
For the Marinade:
- ½ tbsp of ground cumin
- ½ tbsp of ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 ½ tbsp smoked paprika
- ½ tbsp dried oregano
- ½ tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
For the Glaze:
- 75g butter
- 75ml hot sauce
- 75g cider vinegar
- 50ml maple syrup
Preparation:
Mix all the seasonings and make the marinade/ rub. Let it rub into the chicken wings and let them chill and marinate for 24 hours. Once the wings are marinated, put them on the preheated grill and let them grill for 8-10 min each side until they are brown and crispy. Meanwhile, you should focus on making the glaze. Mix all the ingredients together and bring them to a boil over high heat, then let them simmer for 5 minutes until they are thick. Remove the thighs from the grill and pour the glaze over them, carefully mixing them.

Meanwhile, let the wooden skewers soak in water for an hour before use, and alternately thread the chicken and peppers. You will probably have 6 to 8 kebabs. When the kebabs are prepared, heat the barbecue to medium and cook the kebabs for 10 minutes on each side. Serve your kebabs with sliced lemons and tomatoes and warmed flatbread.
