Hello World! Welcome Friends! The summer months are with us again, and this means BBQ season has arrived. If this is your first year heating the coals or you’re an old hand at it, we have some top tips to help you make your BBQ the best in the world.
Get the Right BBQ
What sort of grill do you own? Or are you still pondering your options? When it comes to picking the perfect BBQ, the debate rages on. Some people swear by gas BBQ’s and using propane services to keep their grill going for longer. In fact, there are BBQ’s that can be connected to your home’s gas or propane supply so you will never run out while you are cooking. And then there are the people who believe coals and woods are the best way to cook as it enhances the flavor depending on the type of wood and coals. You might start off with coals and switch to gas at some point, but don’t rule either option out.
Make your Own Burgers
Making your own burgers can be a great way to make your cookout an unforgettable experience. There are thousands of different burger recipes to choose from, but the general patty is simple to make. All you need is your meat of choice, something to bind it together (normally this is an egg), and some seasoning. As you get more familiar with it and try different recipes, you will find one that will work for you and become your signature burger.
Don’t Stick to Just Meat
The wonderful thing about an outdoor grill is that you can cook multiple things at once. It might be tempting to only throw some beef on the BBQ in the form of burgers and steaks, but there are other options. Grilled corn is always a favorite with the little ones, and fish is growing in popularity too. Don’t be afraid to experiment with what you can cook over the coals.
Marinate your Meat
If you have been cooking outside for a while, you will know the amazing flavors that come with a well marinated steak that is cooked outside. But for some reason, some people have never thought about it. Marinating can bring a whole new dimension of flavor and fun to the grill. And, the best part is, there are so many ready made marinades available, you don’t have to spend ages making your own. Of course, you can create your own and have a signature marinade and burger for your parties.
Get Your Guests
Having a BBQ is a community experience that should be shared with friends and family, so make sure you let them know that you are planning on having a cookout. This is also why it is better to plan in advance so you can invite people over and make sure that you have enough food to go around. Maybe you will get lucky and your guests will bring some sides and dessert to go with your cooking.
