Hello World! Welcome Friends! If you are to define a bathroom, it’s simply the room that contains a bathtub, a shower, and usually a sink and toilet. It’s one of the essential parts of a house as it is one of the most used rooms after the kitchen. However, not all realize how important it is to consider how a bathroom has to be designed.
The bathroom can offer you a spot to enjoy your solitude or a place to unwind from what might have stressed you out. When you’re in the shower, you can also consider it as a safe place since nobody else enters once you are inside. You can even consider it a room to rehearse your presentations or essential points for an upcoming interview.
Bathroom Design Considerations
As you see, people usually take the bathroom for granted. Yet, there’s more to a bathroom than the credit we give it. Think about giving it a little love by keeping in mind the following things to be considered when designing your bathrooms.
Plumbing Fittings
This may not be the first thing that comes to mind in planning your bathroom design since your house’s plumbing system can be a complex network of vent pipes, drainpipes, or supply pipes. However, your plumbing and piping plans are actually of great importance in designing a bathroom.
There are abundant options for their distinctive elements. You can choose a classic to modern or minimal to elaborated style to fit your taste. Aside from that, the color of your choice is important, too. Besides black, which is the sought-after choice, you can also pick bronze, silver, or gold-colored ones. Lastly, pipes could be made up of metal or plastic. However, these plastic plumbing pipes are easier to install than the metal ones, but not as heavy and cheaper.
Let The Natural Light And Air In
If you think finding solitude and serenity is essential for designing your bathroom, so is having natural light.
Natural light is one of the essential things a human body looks for upon waking up in the morning. It creates a significant impact on a person’s productivity and health. Starting a day in an airy bathroom with natural light offers the energy and the right emotional state to get ready. You can make use of a panel of a window, a tree through the skylight can be seen. The more light entering your bathroom, the better.
Choose The Right Bathroom Sink
Choosing the right bathroom sink can be baffling and a bit overwhelming since there are many designs to choose from. All you have to do is be smart and think about what makes you comfortable and happy.
First, consider the size of your bathroom. It helps in understanding what kind of design to choose that fits the space. Next, select your preferred shape of the sink. It could be oval-shaped, round, rectangular, or any other shape you want. If you desire to be practical, you can choose a rectangular-shaped sink since saving much space leads to a more efficient function. Lastly, find the right design from a large variety of bathroom sinks available at allorausa.com that fits into your needs. Whether you like to have a floating bathroom sink or a planned color scheme, it’s up to you.
Ace Your Bathroom Lighting
Aside from natural light, you also have to plan your bathroom lighting, especially for nighttime. The brightness of your bathroom defines its functionality and mood. It can help make the entire room larger or brighter. Set a relaxing tone with warm lights over the bath, but choose more brilliant light over your vanity mirrors.
Aside from that, having dimmers is a clever way to select between ambience and task lighting. But before anything else, make sure to hire and consult an electrician to do your bathroom lighting.
Storage
Like all the other rooms in the house, the bathroom also has to be tidy and well-organized. The sight of damp towels or messy bench tops surely does ruin the energy you’re trying to establish within the bathroom. It’s time to consider decluttering your bathroom and only keep the ones you use often.
Try to consider your space needs by investing in stacked floating shelves. Vertical shelving can be a good choice if you want to keep your toiletries organized and have less messy floors. It is minimalist and inexpensive. Aside from that, free up your space. Storing your towels in a linen cupboard is a good example.
Wrapping Up
Having your ideal bathroom design is a crucial aspect of a comfortable and well-designed home. Since every household member uses it on a daily basis, it deserves attention just as much as the other rooms do. Invest in getting it right, and you’ll find yourself spending more time in your dream bathroom.

Lovely. I have a small bathroom in our cottage home. Before we remodeled the light fixture was centered on the wall between the sink and the toilet. It drove me nuts. It now is in its proper place over the sink and it went from 2 lightbulbs to 4. A world of difference. Thank you for sharing on the Classy Flamingos blog party.

Because white towels aren’t susceptible to fading, you can bleach them as needed to remove stains and maintain that crisp white color. When you stock all of your bathrooms with white towels, you can do one large towel load without sorting them out by different colors. Different colors of towels require separate loads to prevent bleeding and color changes.
