Hello World! Welcome Friends! When the first color TV made its way into the family home, the whole world was in awe. It wasn’t long before cordless phones, computers, and wireless internet followed suit. It’s hard to believe that it has only been around 70 years since the black and white screens became a kaleidoscope of colors, and television hasn’t stopped evolving since. If you like following trends and keeping up with the play, then what do you plan on purchasing this year? Do any of these six items below pique your curiosity?

Security Systems
Thieves are becoming more intelligent, but smart home security devices are advancing by the day. Previously, you would come home, remove the tape from the security camera and then watch the footage after the event. Now, however, security systems offer live feeds to your mobile phone, often turning themselves on to record when they detect motion. Security systems can also include doorbells with cameras, and those that enable you to lock and unlock your door from your mobile phone too.
Smart Hubs
If you still walk from one room to the next to turn off all the lights in your home, then you’re living in the past! This year, why not invest in a smart hub? Such a system allows you to open curtains or blinds, turn lights off and on, and so much more. They also link to the same network as your mobile devices and work with a switch installed in your home.
Digital Personal Assistants
In 2019, you are going to have to do less for yourself than ever before – all thanks to the growing availability of affordable digital personal assistants. Thanks to the likes of Siri, Google Home Assistant, and Alexa, you no longer have to get up from your seat and look out the window to find out what the weather is doing. Instead, you can say: “Alexa, what is the weather doing?” and Alexa, or your chosen digital assistant, will tell you. Bring such a device into your home, and you’ll never have to lift a finger to set the alarm, play music, or make a to-do list ever again.
Smart Heating
If you struggle to remain at a consistent temperature in your home at the best of times, then 2019 is going to be your year. You can now buy smart heating thermostats with sensors. They detect when you’re in the room and adjust the heat to suit, and also integrate digital personal assistants too. Therefore, you can be sitting on the sofa reading a book through the coldest winter, before saying: Alexa, turn the heating up to 72 degrees-Fahrenheit. You don’t even have to look up from your novel.
Robot Vacuum Cleaners
Over 11 percent of surveyed Americans hate vacuuming more than any other chore, but it’s something you need to do. If you don’t get rid of pet fur, crumbs, and daily debris, you can find yourself living in filth. Fortunately, you can have your cake and devour it too. You can now buy a smart robot vacuum cleaner that will take care of your vacuuming without you at the helm. While this product has been around for a few years, it’s far more advanced than it ever was before.
If it has been some time since you updated any of your home’s gadgets, then don’t you think it’s time you did? Let 2019 be your year of technology, upgrading your home’s accessories to benefit your living situation and productivity. You’ll be glad you did.
