Hello World! Welcome Friends! A nespresso machine is a coffee machine that can produce your nice cups of coffee that can help you stay awake in the morning. However, it has to be maintained regularly with proper descaling in order to be able to perform well and produce the best coffee you can get. In order to realize this, you have to know and perform the following 4 easy steps to descale your nespresso machine.
Prepare the Machine and Descaling Solution
The first easy step to descale your nespresso machine is to prepare the machine and descaling solution. In order to do this, you have to first turn off the machine and unplug the power chord. Then, you have to empty the drip tray and water tank of the nespresso machine. After that, you can start preparing the descaling solution that you can get from an online or offline store that sells cleaning products. To prepare it, you only need to mix the descaling solution with water in a container according to the manufacturer’s guide that is included in the product. Once you get the mixture, you can then start pouring it into the water tank.
Activate the Descaling Mode
Next, the second step in nespresso descaling is to activate the descaling mode. In this case, you have to refer to the user manual of your nespresso machine because each nespresso machine has slightly different instructions than the others regarding this. However, in most cases, you have to hold a certain button or two to activate the descaling mode. Once it starts, the mixture of the descaling solution that you have put in the water tank will run through the internal system of the machine.
Run the Descaling Process
The third step to descale your nespresso machine is to run the descaling process. This process happens after you have activated the descaling mode. To run this process, you have to put a container under the coffee sprout to hold the descaling solution that comes out of it as a result of the descaling process. During this process, the descaling solution will cycle through the system to dissolve and remove mineral buildup. This process usually takes a couple of minutes, and when it’s finished, the machine will let you know.
Rinse the Machine
Once the descaling process is finished, then the last thing you have to do is to rinse the machine. To perform this, you have to first rinse the water tank to remove any remaining descaling solution in it. Then, you have to fill the water tank with freshwater and run the descaling cycle one more time to rinse the internal system of the descaling system and remove any remaining descaling solution. Feel free to run another cycle of this process if you feel that it’s necessary.
