Hello World! Welcome Friends! If you are asked which is the most relaxing and warm part of your home, what would be your instant reply? Let me guess! It will certainly be your bedroom. Hence, designing your bedroom is merely not just the arrangement of furniture. It’s an art. Since this is the most snug and loved area of your house, this deserves a special décor and design. And this is where bed room furniture plays the role. These create the panache that tells anyone who enters your bedroom how ‘homely’ and stylish it is.
So, if you want to become your personal bedroom designer, you need to know about few facts. You need to fit in the furniture saving as much space as you can, color coordinate the furniture with your walls and make sure your bedroom design is comforting to the eyes as well. The following page will guide you how to get started with bedroom designs and furniture.
Factors to Design the Perfect Bedroom
Okay, since you understand how significantly bed room furniture accentuates your house, let’s talk about few points that you need to consider when you get started with the designing process:
- Set your theme– You need to choose the right theme for your bedroom and shop for furniture within that context. For that at first you need to set your theme preference and plan in an organized and compact way. Either you can go for darker hues of texture or a rugged look with the touch of chaos to it. If you want to keep it more homely then opt for a subtle theme with mild colors.
- Keep the view in mind– While choosing any color keep in mind how the surrounding outside your bedroom looks. You may go for a contrast with light-textured furniture set bought through the FlipKart coupons if you have dark leather furniture outside of your bedroom. Else, you can match it with the color theme of the balcony attached outside and add in the texture of hardwood to resemble nature overlooking the balcony.
- Connect to outdoors– If you want to keep in touch with the outdoors, nothing works better than connecting your bedroom with the outdoor world through a narrow pathway to your garden or your patio. But this part of the bedroom should be given equal importance as this can either enhance or ruin the beauty of your room. So, for this area, you can choose the textures of modern grey and black while the outdoor greens will balance it from becoming dull.

My husband and I recently recreated our master bedroom by building a balcony on the back of our house (sort of a cabin style balcony), which looks out over trees and a small lake. Then we moved our master bedroom into that bedroom (it’s the middle-size bedroom). We call it “The Treehouse.” It holds only the bed, two side tables, adjustable lighting, and a gorgeous painting of a path through a forest. It’s quiet, calming, and very cozy. We can walk right out onto our balcony for morning tea or a sunset chat. We love it! Thank you for all your great ideas.
