Hello World! Welcome Friends! I hope all are doing well and accomplishing all that you need to this week. It’s been a busy week here with Little Dedicated and Art Camp. I’m ready to slow down a bit. Anyhoo, remember after I finished the Breakfast Nook, I showed you my handsome Chang? Yes? No? Let me refresh your memory.
Old and dirty; but not anymore. Chang got a paint job and now sits in his new home.
He sits in the art niche that I recently painted using the stencil I got from Cutting Edge Stencils.
The art niche sits just outside the Master Bedroom in a little hall that has lovely crown molding.
Isn’t he gorgeous? Sorry for the piece of paper underneath him. He wasn’t quite dry on the underside and I really wanted to get pictures taken while I had good natural light coming in the Master Bedroom.
I debated painting him Metallic Gold, but settled on this happy green: Valspar Gloss Luscious Green.
With the new color you can really see more of the details in his robe.
Here’s a shot of my view coming out of the Master Bedroom. I’m itching to start work on painting those kitchen cabinets white, but I’ve got to finish the laundry room first and maybe tackle Little Dedicated’s room. Just need more time…there’s always something to do. I still haven’t settled on a new sconce light either. To check out the curtains and fabric choices in the Family Room click HERE.

Thank you for stopping by for a little visit! Have a lovely day/night depending on where you are in the world! Go with God and remember to be kind to one another!
Chang turned out beautifully. And I think he looks a little like jade now. Great job and such pretty colors to go with him.
You did such a great job with the stenciling. I really love the design and the colors you picked for the stencil. Yes — Chang looks gorgeous in his new color next to the stenciled wall.
I love the color you used. He looks porcelain or ceramic, now.
The new color is great! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
